For starters THANKYOU Mansi!Thankyou so much for coming up with such an Interesting Topic. 👏 The question that u ask "Was PRC the greatest King Of India"? keeps tickling my mind too. 😳 I think,analyze ,think again but my heart is something that is partial to PRC. 😃 Maybe im a Chauhan myself thtz y....i have literally grown up on his stories.When my grandmum use to tell me stories bout "Rajkumar-Rajkumari" i had nly PrithviRaj Chauhan in mind. 😳
Well....here r the reasons y i find him the greatest king of Indian History-
(1) It takes no Prizes for guessing the first reason,that SAMRAT PrithviRaj Chauhan was a daredevil ,very Brave,extremely fierceful and displayed great valour and courage.He attemped in getting manny small territories 2ghtr but cudnt get much success because of his ego clash wid few local rulers 😳 ...a fiereceful man like PRC is bound to have Ego..itz okay 😳
(2)I kno..Koteshwar yatra never happend ....but still PrithviRaj Chauhan became the hero of the masses after eloping wid the love of his Life Sanyogita. Sanyogita became all tym favraite Epitome of Love among Indian Women. Guys...though Getting married to Sanyogita was PRCz biggest downfall it still gave us a beautiful love story that is still alive in the heart of millions.

n yes...there have been other Rulers too..who were eually great. i really respect Maharana Pratap, Chandragupt Maurya,Harshvardhana,King Ashoka....n my all tym favraite Shivaji Maharaj!!! 😳
but...m partial to PRC!!evrybdy has their pet!!! 😆

looool lashy, Shivaji maharaj had hardly anything to do with the British.😆 He was quite earlier than that.

He started his kingdom from scratch, the time where whole india was being ruled by major 2-3 muslim rulers - one of them his dad was working for. Aurangjeb one of them, adilshah another one..

This guy was a hero me thinks - he not only won the battles but played very intelligent politics and also did a lot for community - hence the reason he was openly and sometimes even by underground sources supported by great saints of that time. 😊

British were hardly in picture.. they were came to his Rajyabhishek to give him lot of gifts.. and did few marchant dealings with him.. thats all.. And i think once when they tried to aquire a little port near coast without telling shivaji maharaj, he faught with them and they had to leave it.

so he definitly did not spend his life running after them this was jut lets say 0.5% of his battle time for them.

Now, about his kingdom - He started from the scratch but he definitly ruled a kindom a lot more than just maharashtra a lot of north and a lot more south was part of his kingdom. But I still wouldn't call him emperor.. I would call him a great king probably the greatest I hv ever heard of.. He died pretty young - and I think its one of the best way to live 50 yrs...

hmm.. when it comes to India's greatest emperor - I go for Chandragupta Maurya. This guy was another hero me thinks - All the facts abt him amaze me - He was not a prince - didn't have his own land forget abt kingdom. He got whole india under one roof 1st time in history. He was a good king, and acording to the greek tourists etc at that time - his capital was a the most handsome and rich city in the world!😎

Why ppl still go after is naughty grandson is beyond me..😛

very ryte Ketaki 😳 ....u kno more than Chandragupt Maurya...i admire Chanakya...who had the insight n the intution that Chandragupt Maurya wil 1 day become a legend in Indian History!!!
I love Chanakya...in todayz world we have very few visionaries like him.....

Chanakya was a genius!! too bad he wasn't a king 😭😭 he would have rooted out all evil and brought in the light!

Thnkz Mansi...for agreeing!!!i kno..PRC may not be the greatest but he had the potential to be the greatest. he died young ....i guess....that is the reason...v have seen very few of his capabilties....but m sure...if he wud have lived longer...m sure...thingz wud be diffrent!!!😳...he probably wud have been the greatest!!!😳
