Sagar's JC......

Well i think his anger & hatred towards PRC is justified........He once lost his father for PRC's father.........He also became a king at the age of 14.........He is a able king........still his grandpa wants to hand over Delhi to PRC........& he is a good & caring father.........its really painful for a father to find his daughter in love with his biggest enemy.........moreover PRC eloped with Sanyo from that sayambar.......

But I agree with Kai that JC's actions are not justified........when he found that Delhi is offered to PRC instead of attacking AnagPal he should befriend with PRC(when PRC was eager to make up the relation for Sanyo)........though it would make him down for sometimes but he could gain emmence political advantage in future.......& if Ajmir & kannouj were together then ghori could be stopped invading india.......So sagar's JC is wrong both as a king & a father......

yeap agree this new Jaichand looks more like ghori's bro 😡..he hardly shows any emtions towards his daughter??

Now for real JC.......

in reality JC & PRC were not cousins.......there was no Anagpal & the name of PRC's mom is Karpuradevi who was a rajput pricess.........PRC either won delhi or got it from his father.......the main reason of PRC & Jc's enemity was the different casts they belonged to & the rising power of PRC........this became more intense when PRC eloped with Sanyo........Now in this situation JC declared war against PRC........if in this situation he would forget the enemity with PRC for the sake of Sanyo then the situation would be far better........but here i think JC had a fear to be disrespected & dishonoured by the other king of his cast........At that time most of the king went against PRC for his dominating mentality.......& PRC himself became obsessed with his success & power.......So for real JC I think he was right according to a king........may be not as a father but the king has more responsibilty to serve than the father............

hmmm thanks for sharing, he was trying to be a good king..but in vain.

I think to a certain extent..PRC (real) himself was responsible...he might have a lot of pride ...unlike moti's goody saint version🤢

thanks for reading my essay on JC😆 loved it😉

Me in italics^^^

This essay is quite knowledgable Payal. Thanks 😊

There is no entity named Anangpal in history? I was not knowing this.

I agree, whatever Jaichand did, he did it bcoz of fear of disrespect. Already he was insulted twice. Appni aag woh bujhane ki koshish toh karega hi naa, and unfortunately he met Ghori, who took advantage of internal conflicts. And Pri became too proud and ambitious later in his life.

yup actually delhi had no such political importance before PRC......before PRC delhi was never the centre of political activities……u will find the name of Delhi in Mahabhata as Indraprastha the capital of pandavas & hasthinapur the capital of kaurabas…….& at the time of PRC magadh, Ujjaini & kannouj were strong kingdoms…….& rajput dynasties were located in current Panjab & some part of Pakistan ……..to control the large territory PRC decared delhi as second capital…….It is said that PRC extended his kingdom towards north-east & almost at the doorstep of kannouj……

well according to some where i found this source

Tomars or Tanwars are Chandravanshi Rajputs, and descended from Mahabharat's great hero Arjun through his son Abhimanyu and grandson Prikshit. King Yudhishtra founded Indraprashth, modern Delhi, but he later abdicated in favour of Prikshit. King Anangpal-I Tomar in A.D. 736 conquered and re-established 'Dhillika', moden Delhi. Tomar rule at Delhi lasted until 1182 A.D. when King Anangpal-II Tomar appointed Prithviraj Chauhan, his daughter's son and King of Ajmer at that time, as 'caretaker'.

According to records kept by ' Jagas' of Tomars, King Anangpal made Prithviraj only as caretaker when he went on a religious pilgrimage, but when king Anangpal returned back,Prithviraj refused to hand over the kingdom. It should be mentioned that 'Jagas' are a caste in Rajasthan who are hereditary keepers of genealogical records of Kings, and the present 'Jagas' of Tomar/ Tanwar Rajputs reside near Jaipur, Rajasthan.

According to some records, Anangpal Tomar is described to be in power in Delhi in 1192 CE, as some historians believe that Prithviraj Chauhan was mostly a caretaker king as long as Anangpal Tomar II, his grandfather(Maternal) was alive and ruling. The fact that Prithviraj's coronation to crown never happened makes this confusion even more apparent.

Following King Anangpal giving the throne of Delhi to his grandson Prithviraj Chauhan, or more accurately Prithviraj usurping the throne of Delhi, a branch of the Tomar clan established themselves in the area of modern Gwalior in northern Madhya Pradesh. One of the greatest Tomar kings Man Singh built the fortress citadel which still stands there. A debatable topic is that Tomars did not lose any battle, Anangpal II made Prithviraj Chauhan (the son of Karpuri Devi, the daughter of king Anangpal II), his grandson the heir apparent to the throne since he was probably the most efficient warrior and leader of his time. It is said that Anangpal II's younger brothers then left Delhi and moved to Gwalior, Rajasthan, Haryana and other areas of northern India in disbelief and anger.

Prithviraj Chauhan was defeated by Muhammad Ghori in A.D. 1192. The Mughal emperor Akbar captured Gwalior in 1559.

so if this is true basically i guess this whole love story drama is all hyped up. It seems more that Prithvi Raj Chauhan was a very ambitious person. i don't think he can fall in love. uff i don't know just my opinion. Can't find out the truth its just too blur now. Some historian say something and others something else. what is the truth who knows????
I think theses sagars r just showing us the good stuff about Prithvi. good version only.
PRC would have been a very stubborn and arrogant person too. like jaichand. who knows the real PRC😉

Yup Sash ...... Sagars have shown PRC as an ideal one, which he was not, not as a king.
