After much speculation, Rajat Tokas' role in Prithviraj Chouhan has finally come to an end. But his replacement won't be Angad Bedi as the promos show a newcomer Anas as the new lead. All this after he was projected as Prithviraj in the earlier promos.
When asked about it, an agitated Angad told us, "I don't want to talk about PRC as I'm not the part of it and even in the future I don't want to be involved with the serial. All I can say is after this frustrating experience, I'm not interesting in doing soaps. If at all I do television, it will be anchor based shows where I will be myself. Simultaneously, I am looking at films too."
When we contacted Sagar Arts over the issue, we were told, "From June we were looking for a new lead who will suit the character of Prithviraj but we felt Angad did not fit the bill."
Meanwhile, Angad has recently completed shooting for a music video which will be out in November. About it, he said, "The songs are written by Faiz Anwar and I'm excited about it."
And what about cricket? "About two months back I was in England playing county games but I returned 20 days back to help dad run our trust - Bishen Bedi Cricket Coaching Trust in Delhi."
Speaking about the trust, he revealed, "We conduct tours outside India - Australia, England, South Africa, Dubai – and train youngsters at the grass root level."
Well, seems Angad has enough on his plate.
