I watched Kaun hai on Star news tonight. It was an interesting story wanted to share it with all of u.
It was the story of Prithviraj Chauhans brave commander, Jakhrayu. It seems that this person was a very brave and loyal commander. He had the boon of staying alive even if beheaded as long as his severed head does not touch the ground.
Apparently when Prithvi was eloping with Sanyogitha, Jaichands army was fighting with Prithvis army.. Jakhrayu requested prithvi to leave with Sanyo to the safety of his kingdom while he jakhrayu fought with Jaichands army.. Prithvi was not willing to desert his army.. Jakhrayu said that he wished Prithvi-Sanyos love to be immortal so he asked prithvi to behead him and take his severed head with him and sanyo and his headless body would fight with Jaichands army and protect prithvis army. He also cautioned prithvi not to put his severed head on the ground at any cost because that would kill Jakhrayu.
Thus reassured abt the safety of his army, prithvi takes the severed head of Jakhrayu and leaves with Sanyo towards his own kingdom. Jakhrayus body was fighting with Jaichands army and was holding them back.. On their way Sanyo rani feels thirsty, prithvi offers her water with one hand while holding Jakhrayus severed head in the other.
Sanyo refuses to drink the water saying she feels disgusted to drink water from prithvis hand while his other hand holds a severed head… Thus she forces prithvi to place jakhrayus head on the ground .. At tht moment tht brave commander breathes his last.. 😭
