hey nehaneharika
thanx so much 😊 👏 i like the way you put it,it's really good
ya i know that sivaji maharaj also had more than one wife.actually "disrespect" according to me was not bcoz he had 7 wives but him being called charcterless.anyway thanx a ton for that info on raso

actually my main source of info was the stories i heard from my grandpa who was a army officer and a great historian himself,he wld realte to me many stories of great kings and sivaji maharj and prithviraj chauhan's stories was also told to me by him,he wld relate the stories more in a patriotic sense of it rather than just a story! after all he was a army officer! and i wld have called him a fanatic rather than just patriotic!

ya i know that prithviraj chauhan did lose his interest in his kingdom post mrrg era

according to what i know his defeat to ghori was due to betrayal of jaichand and bcoz that loser attacked him after sunset

PLS DO SHARE UR PART OF INFO ON THAT BCOZ IN SO MANY INFOS ONLINE I HAVE READ THAT HE LOST THE BATTLE DUE TO SANYO OR SOME CHITRAREKHA,ITS SO CONFUSING 😕

ANYWAYS THANX AGAIN 😃

MY NAME IS CHANDRA U CAN CALL ME SO 😃

well firstly hi to you dear Chandra..

by my source
..excuse me but I am gonna elaborate from the point PRC eloped with Samyukta.. this incident naturally insulted Jaichand.. ......again you must know although Jaichand wasn't as valiant as PRC but he had much better army and battle services..... this elopement started a series of battles between Kannauj and Delhi-Ajmer ..during this time there were the two famous battles with Ghori ..clearly at the second war PRC's army was not strong enough due to constant uprisings from Kannauj that it had to face.. So even though Jaichand didn't actually help Ghori.. he weakened PRC's army.. this is the main reason why PRC lost this battle.. you see even against Bhimdev and many previous battles PRC had to fight against sudden attacks be it at night or day..

Now comin to Samyukta's influence ..now you hav to go to the psychological aspect of PRC's battle tactic.. which were hampered ..he was very much in love with his new wife.. which made him lose his concentration on the battle plans ..not many books hav this info of the reason why PRC was so very smittened by this wife of his was not jus becoz she was beautiful.. she was but so were some of his other wives.. may be not as beautiful as samyukta but ..beautiful nevertheless.. .even more ..a rare known fact is that Samyukta was his only wife to sometimes leave for the battlefield with him.. and yes she was a good Kshrayani who knew swordship well and a considerably good warrior.. now imagine the degree of PRC's concentration on the battlefield..

so both these issues add up to the makin of the history - the last Hindu king... ..

Dear nehaneharika,

this is some interesting information you have posted about the history of PRC....it seems to be a revisionist point of view because some of the things you said I was not farmiliar with...its good you have a different point of view and some good new information...lets see how the sagars portray the end of PRC's life...

Kind Regards,
M Shah

Dear chandra

appreciate your gesture.. yes I surely will post in if I hav valid answers for any of your future questions..

as per my source Jaichand never joint hands with Ghori.. his prime target was PRC with whom he was on cold war on sort of continual basis.. So as a material fact he never helped Ghori but by casting several miniature attacks on PRC's army.. and makin it further weak.. one can say was OF help to Ghori..

I don't go by one book.. for instance the Raso was written by PRC clan member.. it naturally will hav a certain amount of bias towards PRC ..even if its unintentional ..Raso glorified PRC.. most of which ..if you ask me.. Prithviraj deserves.. at the same time it make Jaichand look really evil.. he was a decent king who took charge of huge responsibility of entire Kannauj in his early teens.. although Jaichand was not even half as brave and confident as Prithviraj.. which was the main reason why he officially never went on war against PRC.. He was a much realistic a king than our PRC ..you can say the cautious type..
but history always favors the brave.. so do we all..

then again this is merely a point of view of mine.. I intend no offense... ..

coming back to my sources ..after capturing PRC's kingdom made Gohri strong enough to wage a war against Jaichand and win it.. Records also hav it that once Jaichand got defeated his clan took there way off toward the North.. thats another story... ..
