Guys, I want to request everyone that don't take any statements offensive, be sportive and take it as a debate. Because, what you read may not be always what the writer means.
Let me tell you ppl my story - when I was doing MSc in India long back (in 1993), a movie came called 'roop ki rani, choron ka raja'. In hostel, everyone left that show, but I told my friends - yaar itna costly film he, kitni mehenat se banaya he producers ne, hume dekhni chahiye....and, you can imagine, after that my friends tease & laugh at me so much ....any bakwas film comes, my friends used to start - go Anu, the whole theatre is empty, you must go watch the film & appreciate đł
...well, now I think I was so stupid/crazy. In fact, after I started to watch PRC (since Oct. 2006), I have started to criticize almost every drama comes on tv. Means PRC was superb. But as Chaitra said, I am not able to enjoy PRC anymore as I used to - it's really disappointing & all I can say is "don't know what's wrong with Sagars!!"
Well, M Shah, I like your spirit & patience. But, I don't think your explanation applies to general viewers, & makers have to make what makes sense to viewers, not what drama education teaches. While keeping close to the real story, they need to study viewer's feedbacks in order to keep up with a show's popularity.
PS: Sorry, if my point of view sounded rude to any of my dear PRCians.
