i think even though he was dressed as a simplistic baba, the surya necklace being made out of gold is still possible becuz the necklace wasnt really visibile admist all his other necklaces..also, if someone saw him wearing that necklace they would just think that some follower of the baba had gifted it to him

She was being pushed down by Sevak in that scene and he was the one she wouldn't fight back so it's not only she can't swim...

Surya is shown as symbol of Ajmer and they have shown PRC wearing lot's of Surya chains in one form or the other so I think it has more significance. Although he was dressed as Baba he had Sanyo's letters and personal possessions so I am sure he had necklace on him too...

The way Sanyo is hiding it from Jaichand supports the theory more that Symbol itself will reveal some connection with Ajmer...
