This is what i have written to them, you guys can do the same ,if u want!
Dear Mr. Moti,
Good Morning to you Sir!
In continuation to my previous mails ,just thought of writing this mail again, sincerely wish that all the mails/letters that we ,the fans of PRC are sending from all across(from india & overseas)have been sending are in some way making a point that we the public would want to see the story proceecing with Rajat & Mugdha untill the Swayamwar and a few epidoses thereafter ,please pardon our insistence ,but it is surely our sincere appeal to at least consider the same ,frankly i can't be there to see you in person ,but if i could i would surely take the opportunity to ask about the reasons why would you even consider the otherwise, what has convinced you and your able team to think that RT & Mugdha will not justify the Swayamwar.Even if i put myself in your shoes and try to think ,i have listed some points and also put what would be my response to what you would say:-
Maybe your argument will be about Prithvi & Sanyo (played by young Rajat & Mugdha) getting married ......& its social implications in the society
I would probably be saying:- Sir ,this is not something you as a person or your serial is propogating ,this is a simple potrayal of what actually happened ,not showing that probably will be distortion ,as there are no proper proof of what actually happened ,only various sources ..the many versions of Prithviraj raso and other versions of various historians ...all that happened 900years ago,no-one really knows ,but there is enough indication to show that Prithvi married as a a teen...and the present cast Rajat & Mugdha fit perfectly into that role.
Will society accept it (any social uproars etc)??
To add to that please allow me to quote another case where above was done and it was very nicely accepted by today's modern society, today's generation understands the difference .- Child marriage was a fact at that time. and has shown on Indian Television before. the best example I can give is a marathi serial which aired on DoorDarshan called 'Swami' starring 'Mrinal Kulakarni' (current sonpari) and 'Ravindra Makani'. The story was based on life of a 'peshwe'(marathi) king. It was taken from a novel and was infact also a lovestory. It was a BIG hit and was appreciated by ppl of all ages! and Mrinal as the queen who got married was 15yrs old at that time. Mrinal mentioned in her many interviews that she was taken from high school.
Rajat & Sanyo as a reel life couple:- The jodi won't work...
If you have any objections to them as a couple (same height ,young )
My views on this will be reiterating the fact that Sagars are not promoting child marriage or sorts one, secondly the twosome have just got the "Yogya jodi" award, which goes to show they have been accepted as an onscreen couple ,their chemistry works ,they churn magic, some subtle romantic scenes have been shot between them which have worked brilliantly.
Sir...i really don't know how else to convince you ,only if i could have a discussion with you ,maybe i would be able to see the point that you have ....
