the long hair etc might look good on most actors, but if we have seen tht same actor in a diff. serial, seeing him with long hair and a moustache wud look ridiculuos to us and it wud be hard to get used to tht actor's new look. i mean seriously, try imagining an actor you alreadi know, with the PRC look. dusn it seem weird?? but since angad bedi is a new face, it is easier for us to accept him in tht look.

but yep, i think the fact tht angad has been chosen by the sagars alreadi proves tht there must be something abt him tht caused the sagars to pick him..

May be you are right about the look on a known actor, Sonali!
....I am sure, eventually Angad is going to get his chance of playing for PRC!

I signed the petitions to - not replace Rajat, but never believed that Sagar's will keep Rajat until the end, just for our request!
Yes, I hoped with that petition, at least they'll keep Rajat and Mugdha until the Swayambar!
I am keeping my fingers crossed....may it happen so, GOD!

i honestly dont think its too difficult to find someone looking more like rajat than angad - i didnt say he has to look like rajat but angad and rajat look poles apart!

Saying you dont want an actor to be replaced is one thing, but comparing the future actor with the current one is different and it is wrong because if the prospective actor has not even begun his work, on what basis can we compare the both?

i never said angad is a bad actor.. i said i am not convinced he can depict all 9 emotions like rajat can.. infact i even said that angad would be good at action scenes and maybe even romantic ones. but the more subtler emotions like blushing, teasing etc.. well im just not convinced.. who knows i may be proved wrong..

tell me honestly, if u had seen rajat for the first time on sai baba, with his short curly hair and ordinary costume, would u have ever thought tht this boy would be playing the role of prc in the future? i dun think so.

but after growing his hair and wearing the royal costumes, rajat looks like a completely different person and suits the role perfectly. similarly, with angad, right now he may look unappropiate for the role of prc. but after he puts on his makeup and costumes, he does suit the role too.

the first time i saw rajat was in Sai Baba and if you ask me in that Sai Baba photo i will still say he looks like an excellent choice to play PRC.. the first time when i saw angad was in the warrior dress (not casual clothes) and i feel he is good to play a rajput warrior too .. but not as good a choice as rajat is look-wise .. and now that everyone's seen the former, the latter pales in comparison

nahin sonali kyaa baat kar rahi ho.. i can imagine actors i've seen in normal roles and try imagining them in historial roles.. at one go i can say i feel that abhishek bachan is more suited for a historical role than salman khan .. i've not seen either in a historical role so far.. now nirmal pandey is going to play ghori.. without ever seeing him in that outfit, i felt he would be a good choice to play ghori.. angad's get up is actually a bit strange come to think of it.. he has toooo straight hair.. kings had more waveish hair ... i mean even general style of getup between the two is not the same - looks like they are kings from two different kingdome.. rajat is very fair and angad is pretty dark - there is a certain mismatch... 😕

i think the casting directors' prime concern would be to find an actor who suits the role of the older PRC..whether or not he resembles rajat is not as important as finding an actor suitable for the role. and about angad being dark, well we all know that kings spend a lot of time outdoor too, so we presume that prithvi got a tan! 😃 and about king's having more waveish hair, we can never be sure abt tht. all the kings we see on tv are the director's vision, so its not necessary that, thats how they really looked. besides, shahrukh khan had straight hair in asoka 😛

even i saw angad many times on starone on the show cook na kaho he looks amazingly well but rajat is extraordinary he is just a wonder so even i doubt whether he will be able to do the job as rajat or not whatever i seriously want rajat to be in the show till end 😊

Everybody wants that farahnaazz 😉 but really it'll look odd to see young boy - Rajat playing the older Prithvi!....and I don't want the great serial PRC to loose it's essence!

......It came to me many times that Sagar's should end the serial with Swayambar + elopement as part-I, and after 2/3 years show the last part with our great Rajat only 😊....but I know, they'll not do that 😭

i feel he'll be ok in fight scenes but not in romantic n emotional n comic scenes .. rajat excels in all departments but he can't play prithvi throughout 😭
