AP did tweet that First week eps got 6 Lakhs views in SonyLiv
which is highest for any fiction
So it's doing good online I guess

PV is a very expensive show and i hope Sony will not pull the plug before letting it complete it's full run.

I am not sure why PV is not garnering more TRPs...Is it the weekend slot which is the problem..I hope PV was a daily like Porus

I really hope TRPs will increase as it is a good show and deserves TRPs

I think the main problem is slot and the repeats
Slot is late night that too it's pitted against top reality shows
One of which has a live audience poll
So people won't miss it when it airs
while they can catch up PV later in SonyLiv or it's repeats

Now coming to repeats, if people miss ep on Sat-Sun
they had to wait for next week Sat to catch up with it if not for SonyLiv
they need to give Sat repeat ep on Sun and Sunday one on Monday
Instead of waiting for next weekend and playing 1hr ep back to back

Weekend is a problem Mano as even I watch it on Sonyliv most times. Because something or other will come up during weekend. Get togethers, funcions, poojas, movie outings etc etc and its so unpredictable also whereas week days we mostly have a set schedule.
In Sonyliv I saw only 32 followers for the show when I checked it last week to watch sunday episode, that's why I felt concerned.

Must be so
Now I checked all Sony Fiction shows in SonyLiv
YUDB and Porus has max with 5K followers
As we know they started before PV
In four weeks PV has 2K
that's good news😃

Well trp for Sony shows are less but for a show like PV even going by Sony viewership should be more than 1 I feel and we can only hope the audiences come in. I feel there should be an active promo every week for a weekend show.

I think the number of viewers - online as well as offline - might increase after they start showing the love story. And since it's a finite show, the channel will hopefully not take any rash decisions *fingers crossed*.

If that's the reason then it's very disappointing thay people can't see beyond love stories of eye-lock, catching in arms, flying dupatta. Not every time there can be love stories. 80s and 90s historical shows not always showed love stories. Thats why, they were better. I remember in Mahabharat, for 3 consecutive episodes only Karavas were shown with no signs of Pandavas. Still those shows were loved. This show is not about any love story but about some history and mystery. Whichever show I watch gets only less TRPs just because the story is good.

Bold - I've had the same experience :| Personally, in the past, I've stopped watching shows after they introduced love tracks because I couldn't endure the sloppy and juvenile scenes i.e. the trip and fall, flying dupattas, and 15-minute eyelocks 😆 But it also true that those particular shows often gained a huge number of viewers after those ridiculous scenes began. Why? I have no clue 😆 I'm watching PV because of the interesting storyline, strong characters and good acting. And till these three aspects remain intact, I will remain a viewer :) Also, going by what I've seen so far, I have some hope that they will treat the love story with intelligence and respect. Now let's see what's in store...
