Oh yes they r in ALL castes and ALL over the world . Hetals and Fuis do NOT represent Gujjus in totality . I am Marathi and I have seen many such namunas in my caste too .

Amrit's side is economically down . Vimmy has the dough . Vimmy is not as good as Amrit in housework . So she generously helps Amrit with the money problems and Amrit manages the house , which comes easy to her . Vimmy is gonna make Amrits son her successor when in reality she can bequeath all to her Beti only .

As I see it , it is a real nice equation between the two sister in laws . Have seen many households where they have come to such compromises where the equation works fine for both .

Today if Vimmy becomes seperate , its Amrit's loss . Vimmy can keep servants and get work done ...she will find dozen Kalavatis . What about Amrit ? Nobody is gonna reimburse her for her housework as generously as Vimmi has done . Marraiges of her children and all . Her son will not get a well settled business , he will have to start from scratch .

I really do not see any mahanta on Amrit's part for not giving Vimmy power struggle . She is quiet practical .

As i see it this relationship between the jethani devrani was based on practical considerations and has evolved into an emotional one over the years . Today they both r to certain extent emotionally involved in each other too and regard each others children as their own .

Perfect example when Hetal went out and bought baby things not remembering Daarji had specifically told family not to buy anything for the baby. Now in Gujju culture there is nothing of that sort not to buy baby things. I felt Hetal was putting her efforts but she was shot down by everyone. Even if she did something against Daarji's wishes but it was still a good gesture. She admitted to Karan that she forgot abt Daarji saying no in excitement..

i agree i defend hetal,cause i dont tink she is alwys wrong.when karan stopped talking to hetal,wen she tooked d money or even tryed to slap her,i never defended her.when ambaji slapped her too,i was way too happy,i never defended her over dere too.

Nobody shud get blamed for crimes they did not do . But Hetal SHOULD . Coz she tried to get Mona blamed for something she NEVER DID . She tried to tell Ambaji LIES that Mona was responsible for the troubles she was facing in sasural . Then she tried to get her WHOLE SASURAL blamed for a crime they did not do ...DEMANDING DOWRY in form of that CAR . Then she almost got KARAN blamed for a crime HE did not do by robbing the money and buying jewellery . When SUCH a person ...LOVES to get innocent people in trouble by getting them blamed for CRIMES THEY DID NOT DO , the fitting punishment for them is GETTING BLAMED FOR A CRIME THEY DID NOT DO too ! Thats why I said its FAIR for HETAL .

Sure Hetal shud not work WHEN she has THAT MUCH MONEY . Does she have ? No na ? Karan is working in a shop that is NOT his . To gain Satnam's seniority and his privileges which his wife enjoys today , it will take at least 20 years . So Hetal shud not jump NOW to reach a height that is not even within her range . If she earns this much money at this age , I wont say a word .Sure she can afford laziness then . But the fact is ...USKI AUR VIMMY KI BARABARI NAHI HO SAKTI . They r not even comparable . Vimmy is Senior on ALL LEVELS ...AGE , POSITION , MONEY , STATUS , RELATION WISE .
