Mohit is a gud actor no doubt in it cv,s shld show him as a strong person and some logic in his dialogues !!!

Even if SS acknowlegdes ASY as his son, he would still be illegitimate... born on the wrong side of the blanket.. as a lawyer, ASY ought to know that...

Sorry for the long reply once I started thinking about the questions, so many thoughts came as to what is the reason for how ASY is.

I agree that the character of ASY has not been well developed by the CV's but the actor is good. First let me say that what ASY has done to seek revenge is wrong.

I can understand that ASY is upset that he was never acknowledged as SS 's son, but going after Krishna to convict him of a murder he never committed (if he didn't know it in the beginning he knew it as the case proceeded) is just ethically wrong as a lawyer.

As a lawyer he has made a place in society, but unfortunately what happens in our childhood has to have some effect on us. Whatever events occur in our childhood whether positive or negative and the support we have does have an effect on whether we go to the right or wrong path. Now I tried to put myself in ASY shoes and having to hear in childhood the taunts and bad names called to him as an illegitimate child and all that he and his mom went thru has to have some impact and that maybe why they moved. ASY had his mother's love and support and took the positive path and made something of himself. ASY learned how to deal with the events and suppress the emotions he felt (but they were still there deep down inside) and became a lawyer. When P came to ask him to represent K and he found out that he is SS's son all the pain, hurt and anger came back and he became blind with rage and wants his revenge on SS and he went after K, which was totally wrong.

What I am finding hard to understand is if ASY wants revenge and acknowledgement, as a lawyer can't he file a case against SS for his rights as SS's son that way it is out to the public wouldn't this be a solution to his vendetta and humiliate SS as well as making SS's family aware of it, but since this is a serial they are going to make as much drama as possible. To go after his family (especially K) who are unaware of his connection with SS and are innocent is absolutely wrong. That's why I think he really doesn't want revenge he just wants to be acknowledged by SS as his son. Regardless of how much SS says that ASY means nothing to him it is obvious by his reaction to KN's comments when he came back to the haveli that he does feel something for him.

Is he the one that supplied the finances to help in ASY becoming a lawyer and if he is how will KN, K and Komal react to that.

I do think that ASY was born between KN and K.

This is just speculation on my part but could ASY's mom be the woman that SS was going to marry when they thought Amma couldn't become pregnant and that is how the relationship started and once Amma became pregnant the second marriage didn't happen but the relationship continued. Once she became pregnant did SS compel a worker of his to marry her and that is why she calls him malik for public appearance. It appears from the flashback that her husband was abusive to her and maybe to ASY as well and that's why ASY has no affection for him and blames SS for the abuse his mom and him had to go thru.

I don't know why but I think that him and K will eventually end up becoming friends.

Is his mom remarried, because in the flash back they showed her wearing sindoor but I have not seen her with sindoor on currently. Did I miss an episode where they showed that she was remarried and had another child. I saw the child coming out of the house with her when ASY was being beaten up, is this her child.

Just my thoughts no offence to anyone. 😛

so, what is his real motivation... revenge ? greed ? jealousy of K and KN ? 😕

My opinion is that ASY doesn't really want revenge just an acknowledgement from SS that he is his son and acceptance by him and his family. I think we all deep down inside want the love of our parents and unfortunately that's not always possible for everybody. But the CV's will for drama not show this right away but stretch this track till finally SS accepts him.

Nice post, uma. ASY has gone through & is still in a state of emotional turmoil...no wonder he has grown up to be fickle minded & spiteful. He must be feeling deeply dejected deep inside him. Fom the look of it, all he wants is RECOGNITION & ACCEPTANCE BY SAJJAN...notwithstanding that it'll hardly help him in removing the stigma of being an illegitimate. May be the unfolding of the story will tell us what led Sajjan to establish an illicit relation with Shakuntala & until then it'll be wrong to nurture prejudices.

I think ASY's haunted by humiliation from his past, and so he feels entitled to make the thakurs suffer. What SS did was wrong, but instead of being man enough and approaching SS in a mature manner, he's taking the spiteful, vengeful route. Its all about him, rather than his mom, he's too busy feeling sorry for himself.
Unless they show FBs of what he actually endured, i find it hard to feel sympathy for him. Whatever hardships he's had to face, it didn't affect his education, or ability to find a job, no one in court mocked him in public.
Rather than the same dialogues in every epi, the cvs should get him to point out specific problems he's faced.
Agree the actor's doing a good job, could be better with more interesting dialogues.

IMO ASY is feeling rejected and abandoned by SS. He's furious and has thots of retaliation. Once he starts to heal then maybe he'll be seeking SS acceptance but as for now he definitely wants revenge.
