Hi all,
At tne outset, I make 2 confessions here ... First, I m a hardcore MKAPian, an ardent fan of this soap & second, I m one of the kind of viewers who r very choosy ... um... fussy about their visual diet. None of the other shows appeals to me, nor do I hv time to spare. I hv watched all the episodes & hv not missed a single frame ... this makes me qualified enough to review the show. My unconditional support to MKAP is b'coz of its social relevance and its amazing, highly talented star cast. I find everyone doing a role in MKAP extremely talented n unique for the role. But, still there are certain moods that they portray most comfortably. Here is my take on the cast.
Krishna: Anger is his forte... He's the best angry-young-man currently on TV.
Pratigya: She has a fairly wide range of expressions but is most impressive with her 'bhashans'.
Prof.: He is a seasoned actor but makes the best impact when his body vibrates in a state of shock.
Shakti: Very talented but specially good in wicked mood with a wry smile on his face or when he is portraying lust.
Menka: Tantrum queen specially good at casting-her-magic-spell kinda acting.
Arushi: Great looks and a huge talent... But is best when she is arguing with someone.
Late Nainaji: Least talented of all but beautiful and good at shedding tears.
Adarsh-I: Was particularly good at showing a stressed kind of mood.
Adarsh-II: It is too early to comment as he's getting into the skin of the role.
Komal: A great sight when she is giving prasadi to the saxenas.
Piyasiya: Amazing talent but gives her best shots when she is rolling her eyes or is gossipping.
Kesar I: A very spontaneous actor. Was particularly good in bringing out out the pain of an abused woman.
Kesar II: Was underrated until she surprised us with her acting of a mad woman.
Dadi: Talented... But was exceptionally good when she was acting dumb.
Late Angad: The best eve-teaser I've ever seen.
Radhe: The best chhichora u can found on TV shows.
Did I miss anybody out?
Yes... The 2 actors whom I did'nt mention there ...are Sajjan Singh n Mrs. SDS...b'coz these 2 r so much versatile in their acting range that one can't typecast them. I fail to figure out what r their best shots...b'coz these 2 r just perfect in every frame. These 2 are a class apart ... unparalleled n unique.
Who says that MKAP is going to end soon? Shame on starplus to dispense with such a remarkable show for the sake of TRPs.
Hope n pray it lasts long n is'nt made the scapegoat to make way for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming xtravaganza.

Chandu: Cute...love him when he tries to share his love secrets with Krishna but is shun away.
Tunna: Missing his smile & when he used to tell Krishna 'bhaiya, aap ko kya ho gaya hai?'Chinki: She has already earned fame as the youngest & cutest 'gali expert' specially with that saali slang, used so often for Komaliya. She is a pocket size entertainment package.
Samar I: He was too young to act. Still, his charm was infectious.
Samar II: Very cute looks. Love him when he encroaches Krishna's territory in the bedroom.
Ganga: Was definitely a perfectionist. Her forte was carefree type of acting. Looked best when she reacted to Sajjan's romantic misadventures towards getting physical with her.
Gunga: I remember her expressive eyes. He stared really hard but looked vulnerable.
Meera: Pretty face. Pity that she did'nt get a long run in the show.
Ahh...such a long list...Did I miss anybody out?
