Many reasons I think.

Putting K on the backburner. AB getting bored of playing the loverboy...The script and direction is no longer to the standard it was and all other characters given too much screen time when not required..

But I think this new show for AB may rejuvenate him again to show the passion which is missing right now

its not AB's fault... ccvs have stopped writing i guess... but yes if Arhaan have felt the show is not worth to work then he should have left that serial rather than playing puppit's character.
