Just a quick question the KP scene about destiny vs hardwork what was your take on it????
Do u read panchatantra ?? There is a tale about this destiny versus Man's hardwork ....
Once 2 good frnds are out on a stroll , while walking they encounter a sage who gives out a bhavishyavani that "A" will become a King within 30 days, whereas his frnd "B" will die within 30 days...After hearing this there will be a drastic change of behaviour in both the ppl.. "A" will become very arrogant, rude, ruthless and merciless while "B" will turn pious, helpful , giving away alms , kind ...in this way 30 days elapse..on 30th day, both will be walking along a river bank and suddenly a crown will come and fall near "A" feet ..A will be overjoyed and thinks that he has been coronated and will begin to prance in joy, when suddenly An Arrow will pierce B's shoulder and leave him wounded ....
It soon gathers that the King was out on the hunt and in the ensuing melee, his crown had fallen and A discovered it...In other words A does not become King nad B does not die as prophesied
Livid by what he considers to be the falsehood of the Sage, A n B both visit him at his ashram and narrate the events..hearing this out the Sage turns to A and says that u were indeed destined to be a king but ur arrogance, ur vices averted ur fate...so all u got was to hold the crown in ur hands, he turns to B and says your good deeds diminished the potency and u escaped with a scrape..
The Moral being , that Destiny is inescapable , but its effect can be enhanced or diminished by the man's deeds..
Hope I have answered ur q,Star..
