PART-9.

singh house:

krishna was having his dinner with his brother shakti and his mother sumitra.a constant smile was spread on his face.sumitra looked confusingly at his ecstatic face.

sumitra:'kya baat hai krishna? 😊..aaj bahut kush lagrahay ho?😊....'she asked her doubt.

krishna:'😲...kuch nahi hai amma.....' said with a more widen smile spread on his whole face.'omg!😲 why i am so indifferent today?...i could not hide myexcitement...' he himself don't understand why?

shakti:'lag tha hai it is time for him to get married...😉'he teased him.

krishna:'shakti bhai 😊...first you get married and clear my route...😛😉'he gave back to him with a wink.

sumitra:'seriously it is time for both of you to get married.i don't understand why you people continuously denying...😔'she was worried.

krishna finished his dinner quickly and went up and fall on his big luxury bed looking at the ceiling.his mind was going on rewinding that day evening incidence which made him like a drunken monkey.it was driving him crazy.

it made him realized that anitha who was from a high society to whom he gave equal status tried to poison him, in fact put him in death track just because he ditched her only once.but pratigya ???? he threw her out of his club brutally that too during night time because she does not look rich and attractive....continuously found chance to degrade and humiliate her for no valid reason.

but pratigya!....in spite of all his humiliation she did not leave him alone when he was not conscious, when he was in need of some ones support. she took him all the way, all alone and drop him at his house door which is not at all a easy job.he realized that pratigya was right 'clause doesn't come with look and dress...clause lies in character...clause lies in ones altruistic and authenticity, genuineness and simplicity....people should not be estimated with their money and makeup.it is their mind and kind heart which makes them attractive and more beautiful. in that way pratigya is CLASSIC!...'

he understood that he liked pratigya and he confessed to her too.but he don't understand what he mean by 'he liked her?'he was quit confused with his feelings which he never got before.what type of liking this is?is it a liking between two friends,between father and daughter,mom and son,brother and sister,teacher and a student...he can't define.

next day krishna was busy in his head office.from the morning he was trying to find time to visit his branch office.finally by 5:10 pm he completed his work.he grabbed his car key in hurry.he hesitated for a minute..before he could leave he went to the wash room ,washed his face,combed his hair,fixed his shirt properly.he was surprised about his wired behavior...which he never does before.

he reached his branch office and parked his car in the parking lot.it was 5:40pm.before he could get down from the car he saw pratigya coming out of the office along with angad and arushi.angad was giggling and walking very close to pratigya.suddenly all three burst in to laughter.

krishna's face turned red.when he saw angad and pratigya laughing and walking together it created an effervescence in his stomach...'why should i feel so? i have seen many of my friends laughing and dancing in the club with other boys and i never mind it but why now?😕....'he could not find an answer.he was very much confused and drive back to home with confusion.

pratigya got down from the bus one stopping before her hostel.entered in to an fancy shop.she asked the shop keeper to show fancy ear rings.she selected a big silver ear ring with a small dangling hanging in it, similar to one which she lost last week.

pratigya:'bhaiya...yeh pack kardo...😊'along with that she purchased few make up things too.

next day in head office:

before lunch krishna wind up his work.

krishna:'i will look in to the remaining files after 3pm...'he said to his PA and left to branch office.when he reached his branch office it was lunch time.

pratigya was sitting in her seat with arushi beside her and having lunch.angad was standing in front of them and offering food from his lunch box.

angad:'just taste and see😛...my mom is a good cook.waise bhi you might have fed up with your hostel food...😃 😛 😃 😛'he forced her.

pratigya:'it is ok...'😊she gently refused.

arushi:'...pratigya... for formality take some...😊'she took some from his box and told her to do so.

while pratigya hesitantly trying to take little from his box she felt that she was watched .she turned back and saw krishna standing and staring at them.she don't know whether to eat that piece or put it back in his tiffin box.she looked at krishna and then angad.krishna walked in to his cabin silently.

krishna:...he walked in to his cabin silently.

arushi:'...have it...😊'she forced her after krisna went.

after the lunch pratigya was waiting for krishna's call.but he did not.other staffs went to him and have their work done.

she was hesitant to go and meet him,face him.or talk to him.after that particular evening she got out of his hug and ran away following his laugh and saying 'i like you...' ,she was very much tensed to face him.

mr.malhothra's request draft was yet to be completed . it is long pending one.she gathered her courage and strength ,took the note pad and pencil and try to go to his cabin.before she could enter he came out of his room.he walked out neglecting her as if he did not noticed her.

pratigya:' si...rrr..'her voice was high above her normal tone.he stopped and turned back,looked at her with a question mark on his face.

pratigya:'wo.....mr.malhothra's request draft...'she did not complete.

krishna:' i sent it long before...'he said with no expression and walked out with out allowing her to talk further.

pratigya:... stood still in her place.

next day 9.05am pratigya entered her office.

she was surprised to see that the movers were moving her table ,chair computer and other files.other staffs are helping them.

pratigya:'what are you doing?😕....where are you moving my table chair?...'

movers:'mam aap ka seat wahaan par shift karne kay leyeh kaha gaya hai...😊'they movers showed krishna's cabin.

pratigya:' sir's cabin!!!!😲 😲 😲 kissne kaha??? 😡'

movers:' mr.krishna's singh...😊'

pratigya:😲....she stood speechless.by that time arushi and all other staffs also came.all started discussing about the unexpected change.suddenly they all stopped discussing seeing krishna entering the office.

krishna looked at them and gave a pleasant smile.

krishna:'😊...why you are all so surprised?...'

krishna:'from the day we took over this company i was thinking to bring some changes ofcourse including your salary benefits..😊.in this office i neither have a peon nor a PA.you may be knowing how difficult it is to manage with out a PA.so i have promoted miss pratigya saxena as my PA considering her qualification and work efficiency.i hope you all agree with me...😃' he tried to look at pratigya indirectly.

everybody:👏.. gave a big applauds and started congratulating pratigya.

pratigya gave a weird smile at every one with out understanding what is happening? and why?

krishna went to his cabin and checked pratigya's seating arrangement.he told them to put the seat to the right side of his corner beside a big window.

look at the arrangements!

the desk with revolving chair was krishna's seat, at his right side

near the wall with a big window was pratigya's seat.after the movers went pratigya went to krishna's room hesitantly and took her seat right in front of krishna.

krishna looked at her with satisfaction. he felt happy as if he achieved some thing big in his life.he laughed on his own behavior...'why am i behaving like this...?like a child trying to take care or hide his favorite toy...'

that day evening YMCA hostel:

rolli:'do you remember today night they are going to publish our result on the net.she was sitting on her bed and eating popcorn.

pratigya:'yeah i remembered..'she was sitting on the computer and checking her mails.

rolli:'are you not tensed?...'

pratigya:'not much, because i face daily tension in my office....'

rolli:'why? what happened today...?😕😆'

pratigya'i have been promoted to krishna's PA...'

rolli:'wow😛... that is great...you should be happy for that...'she was excited.

pratigya:'no rolli...i am not at all happy .instead i am scared...'

rolli:'why?...'

pratigya:'i don't know....but i am sure it is highly risky to work with him that too within his cabin...'

rolli:'wo tho hai.....it is highly risky to work with a hot and handsome guy with in four walls...😛😊'she gave a sarcastic smile.

pratigya:'be serious yaar...😡'

rolli:'yaar... i am very much serious...😆'

throughout the night they did not sleep.constantly keep checking the site to find out whether they have uploaded the result.finally they upload the result by 2 am.rolli passed in first class and pratigya with university rank.immediately pratigya called her parent and told her result.

pratigya:'hello papa maine university rank ki hai...😊'she told her father shyam saxena

shyan saxena:'mai janta tha beti..badahi ho..aur jaldi ghar awo...thumari maa thumara raha kar rahi hai...😊'

pratigya:'ji papa mai jaldi se ghar awoongi.... mummy aur adarsh bhaiya ko mera pranaam kayhana...😊'

next day both of them are excited to go out and share their result with their colleagues. pratigya wore a light orange new salwar with white chicken work , and big silver ear ring which she bought two days before.

office around 9:30 pm:

pratigya was distributing pure ghee sweets from a sweet box to her colleagues.

look at the sweets box !😛

while she was giving to angad krishna centered the office .

pratigya:'gu...gud morning!...' angad and arushi followed pratigya and wished him.

krishna:' carry on...😊 and come to my office...' he went to his cabin without disturbing them.

pratigya close the sweets box with left out sweets inside ,and went to her seat.krishna was standing near the window beside her seat.he has moved the curtain side way , was looking out side and trying to have fresh air.as soon as he heard her foot steps he turned towards her. she went to her desk, kept the sweet box on her table and sat in her chair.

krishna:' don't you like to share your sweets with me?😊...'he was standing beside her table.

pratigya:'i thought you will not eat...😒'she said in a low voice looking at the sweet box kept on her table.

krishna:'kyun?...😃'he slightly jumped and sat on her table facing to her, hanging his legs beside her chair. distance between them was meager! if she looked up she could see his wide chest in close up, if she looked down could see his tight thigh in close up.for a second she thought of getting up from her seat but soon her eyes estimated the distance between his legs and her chair,without rubbing or touching his thigh it is not possible to get up. she was sitting in a very embarrassed position.

he scanned her with his light brown eyes from top to bottom and admired new silver big earrings in her ears similar to the one he has with him.she could not with stand his stare.she bit the left side of her lower lip gently with her canine tooth which made her look more attractive and sexy.

pratigya: 😳...

krishna:'mai alien nahi hun😡😆...for your kind information maibhi delhi mai rahata hun and i love delhi sweets...😛' he slightly turned his body,leaned forward and opened the sweet box.

pratigya:

krishna:' umm😛...good collection of sweets😛...all of them are my favorite...😛'he said looking at the variety of sweets and took a kalakand without asking her and started eating.

look at kalakand!😛

krishna:'happy birth day...😃'he wished after looked at her new dress , new ear ring.

pratigya:'it is not my birth day...'

krishna:'then?😛'he was enjoying the sweet,

pratigya:'...i have passed my masters...😃'

krishna:'oh!...😛' he was still sitting on the table, shaking his legs front and back and constantly looking at her with his expressive eyes which made pratigya to feel as if she is sitting on thorn chair.

krishna:'what is your percentage?..😊..'he asked her causally

pratigya:'98%...😊'

krishna:😲...'he stopped eating.

he tried hard to swallow the kalakand which in side his mouth.she made him remember his marks ...with a great difficulty he was able to score 60%...first class! that itself he was thinking as his big achievement.

krishna:'umm...i am impressed...😃'he was really impressed.

pratigya:thanks...😃

krishna:'tho! tum brilliant ho!...😊'

pratigya:😳

krishna:'thab tho tumai pata hona chahi yeh😃...'

pratigya:'kya?😕...'

krishna:' for the past one week i was trying to find out😕...i checked almost all the on line dictionaries but could not find the meaning of it.

pratigya:'which word sir?😕...'she looked at him thinking in her mind ' 'issa kya word hai which he can not find the meaning of it?😕 wo bhi on line dictionaries par!😕...'

krishna:'behooda!...😛...😉'

pratigya:😲 ....she remembered him calling while she was letting out her anger thinking that he was unconscious.

krishna:'waise i know the meaning of luchcha😛...kyun ki mai hun hi luchcha!😡😆...'

pratigya: 😳 😲...her face turn red will multiple expressions.he took one more sweet from the box and jumped down brushing his thigh against pratigya's hand.

pratigya:'...' she pulled back her hand as if she got electric shock.

krishna:'oh ho! 😔...do you want me to say sorry?...'

pratigya:' .... it's ok... 😡...'

krishna:'wahi tho!😃 that is why i like you...😛...' he said while going back to his seat stuffing kalakand in his mouth.

What a sweet and cute chapter! Glad Krish finally realized his mistake.... i should call him batameez too🤣but i forgive him bcoz deep down he's not a bad guy! well i hope so! Prats is the only woman who forced him to really look at her.....she's independent and headstrong and dares to walk away from him so he's bound to focus his attention on her! Loved him when he was teasing Prat! and no way i don't want him to return her ear-ring.... it should be kept as a beautiful memory!
