Pratigya has always been true to her ideals and truth. Clearly in the engagement the Thakurs were at fault. Then why did she have to follow her husband back ? Are'nt you contradicting her character traits ?

Why not make her into another Kesar ? Well thats going to be a wonderful thing to watch. Degrading a women's self esteem in the name of marraige. You mentioned in an article that you are portraying realistic events through the serial . An educated woman will not go through with this amount of insults or for the matter of fact marry an uneducated man. This story could go into three ways : 1) She accepts her fate and stay with the thakurs. 2) Divorce Krishna. 3) Or they both get out of the house and start a new life.

So what is it going to be? Or is it that you do not care about what viewers think ?

I think the CVs want it both ways . . They want to show not a feminist but a girl who stays WITH her sasural and wins in all battles . . So it is imperative that she STAYS WITHIN and doesnt walk out ...as there wont be story left . All Pratigyas wins r ultimately the battles on hOME FRONT WITH INLAWS . . Also , she has no money . Neither does she work , nor does Krishna .All her lipsticks , Chiffons , jewellery comes with Paapi Sasur's money . And Shamu Professor for all his progressive ideas is very obviously not comfortable with her leaving sasural forever , or else he would have NEVER left her there after the horrifying blackening . He is rather old fashioned that way , he sent Pratigya back when SS came to take her after the slap incident . . I think there will be a great Dheem Dheem Tana music and Pratigya declaring that she will attend Arushis marraige as Arushi is her sister , and she will attend it wearing zari saris bought with sasurs money of course . This Leaving the engagement is a prelude to the greater war . She will say US DIN MAIN SAGAAI CHOD KE AAI PAR SHAADI MEIN ZAROOOOR JAUNGI . . So u see , u wont be disappointed for long .😊

When will her education come handy ? She should get out and find a job and support her. As much as I have understood Prats character I beleive that she has always been a feminist. Always has fought for valid women rights. Feminism doesn't mean someone's a man hater. Feminists just think that men and women should be treated equally. It's a simple idea but somehow complicated for the world to put into action.

I am not against her staying at her in-laws if they were not evil . But they are. They have even tried to kill her twice. Hypothetically would you want an friend or neighbor to stay with these people? Would'nt it be nice to see that her husband works and earns for them. Would'nt that be a good message.

Anyways this is my POV and not trying to offend anyone.

See , For Krishna to work and get job , its too late , he has to learn from ABCD he cant read hotel menus even . Unless SS gives him money for capital to start business .....even for that one needs training . . But Pratigya is educated [ MSC i believe] Why is she not shown WORKING . SS even gave her school on her name , he may be evil , but why not use the school for good purpose ?Teach the girls there and also Krishna ? . Or how about giving tuitions at home ? She does NOTHING . I dont see her opening adult education classes in that schooll SS gave her and teaching Kesar there ...nothing . . Also I find it very odd that she gives speeches about morality to her sasural people [ who i fully agree r evil] but uses their money for her food , costly saris and make ups . this is BLUNT hypocrisy . Its SS 's money , if u call him PAAPI why use PAAP ka paisa ? . Some questions in this serial have no answer . I have also not liked her role in turning her face the other way and not going into depth to enquire Adarsh's role in killing Angad . She focussed on getting Dad out but did not really ask her bro what he was doing there with bicycle chains and hockey stick . She has NOT turned him into police saying here , question him , my Dad was protecting HIM . The other fights for truth she follows till the END . . Now let us see what she does when IGS younger sons role in crippling Adarsh is found out . Will she drag him to court and spoil her relations with Aman and his family ?Lets see .
