No truer words have been spoken on this forum! And therein lies the crux of this matter! š A whole lot of people are just longing to get their hands onto the "Oh so hot, oh so gorgeous Krishna Singh and prove to him how much more lucky he could have got! He could have got a completely compliant, always willing, always fawning wife who would take his every unlettered word for gospel, and never cross his word, give up her own judgment and will to toe the line of his every wish and desire. Nothing he says or does or asks would be too unreasonable or even questionable. A wife who knows that Krishna Singh is actually God. A lot of people think that a man as sexy as that does not deserve less than that. Many people really wish Krishna could be shown what he is missing, if only they could step into Prats' shoes! š Most of the hatred for poor Pratigya is based in simply rivalry, which is quite amusing considering that both the rival as well as the prize-catch are both fictional characters!šš
The CVs are a bit amused by this obsessive devotion to their very grey male protagonist. All their wonderful efforts to give this character so many nuances are all a wasted effort as far as a section of the forum goes. Because since that section can see no wrong in Krishna, they don't see him at all!
I was both amused and slightly embarrassed when the CVs put in that bit about "ladkiyan aapas mein bhid jaatien hain" I mean this forum has the potential to be a real source of mature valuable feed-back to the makers of the show. But if all they are allowed to see is a gaggle of Fan-girls who are screaming for a piece of their idols shirt, it is slightly disappointing and embarrassing. I hope that we can use this forum for a bit more than that!
Krishna is a wonderful grey character. Pratigya is far more white, but still human. Krishna loves her for the courage and strength and mind and righteousness. His greatness lies in loving her in spite of the fact that he knows she is a better human-being than him. Her greatness lies in loving him in spite of his flaws and not in just pretending that he does not have any. I think the forum may in fact have something to learn from her attitude and take cues from her. It is a little silly to hate P just because she does not help us along in the little delusion that Krishna is perfect.
