Great post Kool,
Pratigya tends to care more about principle than people - and always seems to do the most riduculous, short-sighted things in support of that principle - from slapping Angad and trapping Kesar into remaining in loveless, abusive servitude.
This situation is a dream come true for Kesar - it gives her security and control over Shakti and the Thakurs. He enters into a second marriage - not only does she get loot she also has the threat of jail to hold over them for ever if he EVER gets out of line.
On a related note I think that SS and Amma actually do have some affection (maybe even latent gratitude) for her. They are offering her money instead of plotting to kill her!!

I still don't inderstande why Pratigya is hell bent on saving this rotten marraige. What is left in the relation. As you said they will continue to treat her as dirt. Shakti will continue to abuse her amma will continue to exploit her.
Why not get the maximum economical benefit from the Thakur. Move out adopt an orphan and find a purpose to her life which will uplift Kesar's confidence. For crying out loud woman LIBERATE KESAR. No woman needs a monster like Shakti as a husband. But then that would mean Pratigya has no poor soul to save. How will she feel good about herself

@ underlined -😆😆😆😆 So True. She made Krishna fight with her brother, she felt so good that she did something about kesar's problem so she went on a date with her hubby. Look how RED used that opportunity to trap Kesar.
Pratigya's way of fighting is very provoking, She thinks she is educated and knows it all but is that enough? She lives in that house for months but how much she knows Thakurs, especially SS. Does she know how cunning he is? whatever she tries to change or implement Thakur's take it as a challange and try everything possible to defet Pratigya.

Fully agree with you Kool 😃
I've read post saying Kesar should listen to prats and fight for her marriage, that she should not be dumb and agree with the Thakurs as apparently that would be her bowing down to them 😕😕
All I have to say is by all means Kesar jump on the opportunity!!! Your sasur is ready to offer you land and money in compensation for his son's liberty. Your marriage isn't a marriage to begin with, what is there to save??!
And prats wants Shakti to abide by law --- what would it achieved? If somehow she gets successfull in doing so (I personaly think there's realistically not a chance but you never know with these CVs -- Prof's trial anyone?) then what? Does she really think Kesar would be treated better? I'm seriously wondering if she's really doing all this with kesar's betterment in mind or if it is simply her thirst of resolving everything by law that is begging to being quenched?

Kools, nice post.
I had actually the asked the question, few days ago, why is Pratigya trying to keep Kesar married to this brute now when just few days ago, she was determined to put shakti in jail?!😲.....It seems it is all about the status, and not just wealth by the way, but Kesar's status in life....as a divorced woman she is lower than the lowest!....but remaining married, at least, will give her respectability or something along that line...😲
But people seem so short sighted and focused on one person. The moment Krish acts his natural self, the forum is flooded with posts, all saying that Pratigya should divorce him and walk away!....Yet Kesar gets beaten black and blue and the furore is over that ill-thought out FIR action. Now a golden opportunity is given to kesar to walk off and I don't see anyone saying 'yeah kesar, walk off now ...grab this opportunity'...Instead once again, Pratigya's action is supported and is the best thing in forever.
But how can remaining married to a man who killed all her children and nearly herself, be a good thing?...... Pratigya isn't thinking of that, she is busy spouting her principles...I just wish she would for once think things properly and see what is the best for Kesar.....We all know Pratigya walks off with something, doesn't even pause once to reflect or take another person's view on board - unless it happens to be dear papa's - and makes a big hungama out of it. Her husband then gets involved and somehow she manages to walk off while he pays the price. She always wins or escapes unscathed (depends on your POV) by riding on her husband's support. I tried to think of one instance where she won by herself but couldn't (perhaps someone can kindly point one out to me?).😃
The limit was reached .....brother fought against brother....all because of her involvement. She repeatedly barges in where not needed. Anyone in real life doing this in a family like the Thakurs would be dead...or at least walking wounded....... I didn't get any satisfaction from seeing brother pitted against brother, no matter how evil one is......and what did that gain her? nothing. After such a serious event, she should ask Kesar, what do u want?.....we all saw Kesar's true thoughts yesterday when she agreed to Shakti remarrying - she is a traditional bahu in that sense....her self worth is zero and tied in with her marriage....she will let Shakti walk over her and his new wife but she will keep quiet because she has nothing. She is wise enough to know this and accept her lot in life...... Pratigya should for once help as Kool suggested, do this legally and have papers drawn so kesar can at least have some modicum of self respect.
But I fear that won't be the case. There will be more drama, violence and etc happening as Pratigya rides her high horse.
p.s. did anyone else find P so naive when she told SS to let KN and Kesar adopt a child?😲😲..I mean did she not know the Thakurs at all?.😃😃

DG what are you saying? It's obvious this girl hasn't learned anything living with them......I mean she still thinks that giving her bashans of what's right and wrong with her famous glare to boost is going to make a difference to them so.......Really prats seriously lacks common sense.....

Ok, will Pratigya agree if KN legally divorce Kesar and then gets remarried? Morally, yes KN is doing wrong thing by throwing her first wife because she is unable to bear a child...but legally he could. In this case Pratigya's solution doesn't resolve any issue in long term. In reality also couples take divorce if one found other in fertile.

The more I think of this solution it appears to be what Pratigya wants rather than what Kesar wants for herself. Why Pratigya why? Why do you experiment on others? Status and society doesn't come and save her when she gets beaten up....

I don't have words to describe my reaction when she suggested this to SS!....thankfully he explained it all to her😃.....but I get this feeling, each time Pratigya starts her bashans that her last experience has been wiped off her mind!!!....that is the only explanation as to why she keeps flogging the same dead horse, from different angles!!...😆😆
But I do wonder at the CVs...it is like they had written themselves into a corner.....every now and then they think 'oh we must give P a bashan to sing about, how about this?'.....and all the other times it's the Kriya romance or the Saxes or the new family....It's like they don't know how to progress on, so the show has become an amalgamation of saas-bahu drama, an angry young man and his self realisation, a dysfunctional family and so on..........but more than all this, I would be happy seeing the characters learn and develop....Pratigya, the character is seriously lacking in this and I think that is why many of us find hard to relate with her.....Krishna, at least is shown to be learning now and again......but she too has to learn and grow....
