Krishna is the one who is losing out because of Pratigya's actions. He is on the verge of losing his family, because of her refusal to even see their POV on anything, he is on shaky grounds regarding his future security, he feels isolated and so on. I think P loves him, provided he does listen to her and does what she wants, becuase she knows he doesn't like all the fighting and arguments in the home....just to get some peace he will do it.....I felt really bad when he drank that water and she stood mute....when u love someone, you would have struck that thali of his hands b4 his lips could even touch the rim...
At the moment his feelings are stronger than hers. It is because he has totally accepted P - with all her warts and peculiarities and quirks. He has respect for her and for their love, he will bow down in front of it. But she hasn't fully accepted him as he is nor has respect for their love as fully as he has. She may not know it but she wants him to change, going towards maybe what her ideal vision of a her husband should be.
I hope I am proven wrong about P's love and devotion, I would love to see her as mad about him as he is for her.๐Ÿ˜Š

Let's make a chain. Dreamy I agree with your post word for word. Esp. the underlined part.

Let me add that when she accused Krishna of loving her to prove it to himself there was some projecting there. I am yet to see her stand up for his self respect other than saying you go through so much bec' of me..........it's all about her in her mind. He dared to love her and he has to pay for it in a way. She has had opportunities to stand up for him but she hasn't to this day.

She has to pick up a few clues and right her ways as much as he has to learn to do things differently.

Mera, dear....lets do the chain and dance in it. Is it going to be line dancing?๐Ÿ˜ƒ
I agree especially the underline. When SS pushed Krishna towards the door the other day and it ended there...I saw P move a bit and I honestly thought that tomorrow we will see her either holding K's arm, as a form of support, or she will say something to SS.....I even put it down in one of the post, hoping she will do or say something.....that was painful to watch and she did nothing. When Amma refused to feed him he had to speak up she didn't. Since when did a woman in love let her husband be treated so poorly. Where was the fire in her then? Disappointing indeed!
The thing is she speaks for practically everyone, butts into everything and yet she never ever speaks up for her husband, when his family rips him apart in front of her. That is the time she should say something. Does she not understand, how it tears him apart to know his wife is witnessing him being treated like a dog?. I am waiting for the day I can applaud her for standing up for Krishna. He has stood up for his sasur and Arushi and even Adarsh to Komal. She has stood for Kesar and that's it. Her words of ILU ILU don't match her actions just yet of a woman in love. A love without respect is no love at all. ๐Ÿ˜•
He speaks up, even when not included...recall any scenes at with her family when he is around...the other day after they came back from the hospital he spoke to Aman like a proper SIL of that house.....yet P has never spoken to her in-laws like DIL, even the days after her marriage....This is because K has accepted her and her family as his maybe even more dearer to him than his own.
I am more interested in seeing whether she will stand up for him in front of her family. the day she does that, I will believe she is really in love...that will be the true test. In her eyes her family is the best, they are always right and everyone must come upto their measure....so if she defends K that means she thinks he is their equal...Dreamy, that's a long time coming. Unless he gets a job and can sign his name and do a few things that were on her dream list she will be hard pressed to accept him as her equal completely. She has started on that road to love but she has a long ways to go too. In the precap we saw her say "you don't work so you ........."which was a rather rude and insulting way to say it. Sure it was a rude awakening he needed it to kick him to action. But had she said "you shouldn't be the one to say such a thing" it could have had several interpretations and he wouldn't have had such a violent reaction. It could refer to Kesar or him and left it wide open to interpretation. She could have diffused it with explaining it to him in a calm way. Let's see how it plays out come Monday.

The reason he reacted so angrily in the precap was because her words went straight to his heart....his own parents have said worse things to him but he shrugged it off and he did the same when his mother made a similar remark......but her words hurt and it is because he too harbours doubts as to whether he is good enough for her...so her words are like confirmation to him, that her love is not strong .....

The unfortunate thing is he has a wife who seems to be his world just doesn't agree with his family ways of running their house. It is disturbing the existing order of the house. All this is having a detrimental effect on Krishna. It is making him insecure. All this has already is cost him his family's support and if they continue to live there it will put a strain on their marraige. Although it will actually test prats love for Baba but I have feeling it will Baba's loss in the end as i have always felt he has a stronger need for her than she has for him

She has to pick up a few clues and right her ways as much as he has to learn to do things differently. I agree.....totally

About her consulting the doc probably did it when every one was sleeping or plotting to kill her๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

BTW if u haven't assessed Prats character she doesn't discuss anything with anybody just tells the person what she has decided and wants. After that its my way or the highway

KC, I was being very serious๐Ÿ˜†. The major issue I have with Pratigya's character or the CVs is that they think of an social issue then think of the most dramatic outcome but never look in detail to the execution to reach the point of success. They want the biggest impact (usually with an audience present) to show her success, strength and sense of morality, but always show the most unrealistic way to reach it. If we are meant to take inspiration from Pratigya's character, shouldn't they they pay attention to such details?

Oh, I did assess her character when the Promo for the show was first aired. She is the protagonist of the show and it would be her way or the highway. That is why I refused to watch the serial when it first started.๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†. I prefer real women who solve issues with a realistic flair, not filmy style. Nor do I believe you have to rely on a man for support, which this drama always implies and what the ppl on this forum expect,

U are bang on ..sheena.... for every successful completion of her misson..Pratigya has relied on Krishna ....Pratigya is all air ...or was it supposed to be so...we all are agreed that this show is mainly about Krishna's redemption and evolution...so what if Pratigya is the voice of Krishna's conscience..and heeding the voice ..Krishna acts and reacts...sometimes circumstances are such that the voice becomes muted or low ....but almost always he listens to the conscience and takes actions to avert any major injustice...if we think along that lines...Pratigya's bhashan and her reliance on Krishna makes sense...
