krishna:😲....he quickly took his wrist and checked his pulse.
krishna:'GOD!!!😲...he has pulse!...' he felt his feeble pulse. he immediately touched his neck and checked again. his hope raised high when he felt again angad's feeble pulse.
pratigya nivas:
it was around 6pm.
before getting down from the taxi pratigya grabbed few bills from her purse, without even counting gave it to the taxi driver and ran in.sajjan was resting in his room.without caring to remove her sandals she ran in to his room.
sajjan:😲....shocked to see her running and coming.
sajjan:'pratigya!...kya baat hai?...kya hua?😕'he got up from his bed.
pratigya:'😭...dad...'she end up with loud cry.
sajjan:'what happened?...tell me...😕'
pratigya:'😭...'she tried but could not.she was gasping.
sajjan:'where is krishna?😕...'he immediately asked for him.
pratigya:wo...wo...😭...'she tried her level best to say.
sajjan:'bolo...don't make me tense...😕'slowly slowly she narrated the whole thing in between her sobbing.
sajjan:'GOD...😲...kithni badi museebaat khadi hogaye hai...😲'he was shook by the incidence.
pratigya:'...😭...' she too was freaked out.
sajjan:'😲....'he was yet to come out of his shock.
sajjan:'krishna ko call karo...'finally he spoke.
pratigya:'haan...😭...'she keyed in the numbers with her shivering hands. she tried again and again.
sajjan:'kya hua?😕....'
pratigya:'ring jaraha hai......but he is not attending...😭'
sajjan:'no other go.we have to wait for his call...'he could not act immediately.
pratigya:'nahi...i cannot wait till then.let us go to our office...😭'
sajjan:'pagal hogaye ho kya thum? 😲...'when they were arguing pratigya's cell rang.
pratigya:😭...daaad ki...ki...krishna...'her voice was doddering.with her shivering hands she attended the call.
krishna:'pratigya...'he was weak in his voice.
pratigya:'😭...'she found no words to speak.
krishna:' i am in paschim vihar police station.don't worry angad is alive....mere fikr maat karo...'the constable snatched the phone from him,did not allow him to talk further.he was permitted to make a single short call.
pratigya:'hello...hello...😭...'she keyed in the numbers to call him again.but of no use.
sajjan:'where is he?😕...'
pratigya:'paschim vihar police station...😭...aur...aur...'
sajjan:'aur kya???...😡'he yelled.he had no patient.
pratigya:'angad zeenda hai...'
sajjan:'thank god!... yeah tho bahuth achchi khabar hai....'both of them without wasting time rushed to the police station.
outside the police station:
pratigya jumped down from the car and try to run in.
sajjan:'pratigya ruko...😡'
pratigya:'😕...😭'she stopped.
sajjan:'thum police walon se kuch nahi kaho ge,aur kuch naye museebaat nahi khada woge...samji...😡'
pratigya:'😭...'
both rushed in.pratigya searched for krishna and her heart collapsed to found him behind the bars along with other culprits.a sharp pain short up from her stomach and stuck in to her throat. tears bubbled from her eyes.she could not control herself.while sajjan manage to talk with the SI,with his permission she ran to the cell where krishna was.
krishna too saw them and came close to the bars.he tried to keep himself calm hiding all his feelings.his corners of his mouth turned in to a kind smile.
pratigya:😭...💔...'she could not speak, acute pain travel down from her chest in to her stomach.she stood crying.
krishna:'nahi pratigya...rothay nahi...'he muttered ,controlled himself not to cry in front of her. he put his hand out side the iron bars and wiped her tears.pratigya put her hand inside the iron bars placed her shivering chill palm on his cheek.her touch express every single feeling of hers .
pratigya:'😭...yeh sab meri wajai se hai...😭'.she tried to move more close to him but the black big bars were the barrier between them.
pratigya:'😭...muchay maaf kartho ...💔 😭..'the pressure and tension weighing on her heart were unbearable.
krishna:'usshh...'he placed his hand on her lips.
pratigya:'mai bahuth buri hun...bahuth buri hun...😭'she tried to hit her head on the bar.
krishna:pratigyaaaa...😭...'he quickly hold the bar to save her head from getting hurt.her fore head hit his fingers.
sajjan spoke to the SI:
SI:' sir mai jaantha hun...yeh aap kay damaad hai.par i cannot over rule the laws.as you know it is too late now,you can get his bail only by tomorrow morning...'
sajjan:'kuch tho karo...please ...'
SI:'kuch nahi hosak tha sir...i am sorry ,he has to spend this night in the cell...'
sajjan immediately called his advocate and spoke with him.he too said sorry to him. he tried by all possible means. finally with no other go he got up from his seat and went to krishna.
krishna:'dad...yahanse pratigya ko lejao...💔' he worried more about pratigya and her worstening health condition than him.
pratigya:😭...she was clenching his shirt.
sajjan:'krishna thum chintha maat karo,tomorrow morning i will come with the bail papers.srif ek raat ki baat hai...'he assured and consoled him.
constable:' time hogaya...' he informed them.
pratigya:'😭...' sajjan pulled her from krishna.
pratigya:'muchay bhi yahee rahay ne dho😭....💔'she refused to leave his shirt.
sajjan:'don't talk nonsense...😡'he pulled her again.krishna's shirt slipped from her hold leaving a button in her hand.sajjan went out dragging her.pratigya turned back and looked at krishna with flowing tears and his shirt button in her first. krishna stood looking at her with aching heart till she vanished from his sight.
the whole night pratigya was suffering with mental agony.she did not eat or drink or sleep,did not close her eyes for a second.
next day:
around 9am:
arushi was sitting restless in the NIIT class room expecting chandu.for her surprise at 9:10 garima bhatnagar entered the class to teach.
arushi:'😲...'she could not concentrate on her class.she was thinking all possibilities in her mind' what happened to chandu sir? is he left the job? or is he not feeling well?yeh avi bhi nahi aaye!...what happened to her?.both are missing together!...kahin...wo dono date pe tho..?😕....cha cha...issa ho hi nahi saktha...'she was brooding till the class dismissed.
around 9:30am:
paschim vihar police station was crowed with chandu,tunna,adarsh,komal, naina and pratigya.sajjan was sitting in front of SI with his legal advisor for completing all the formalities of krishna's bail.
naina was standing lifeless with komal and pratigya stood beside komal keeping all her emotions under controlled.
tunna and chandu were standing in front of krishna who was standing behind the bar.
tunna:'thum issa kaise karsak thay ho?😲.you are a central government employee...this will damage your service record...yahan thak ki thumara job jasak tha hai...😔'
krishna:'😔 ...he said no word.he was looking dull and tired.the dark circles below his red swollen eyes told that he did not sleep the whole night.
chandu:'i never expected this from you...never ever...what was wrong with you..?😕...'he still could not believe him.
krishna:'😔
SI:'release him.unn ka bail hoga ya hai...'he said to a constable.as soon as he was released pratigya forgot about the surroundings and ran towards him.
naina:'pratigya ruko...😒'she stopped her.both pratigya and krishna stood facing each other at a distance of few feet.naina moved towards him and hold his wrist.
naina:'chalo...'she took him with her.
pratigya:😭...she was taken aback. felt a prickle of shock and disappointment traveled down her spine.
krishna:'maa...😲...wo...'
naina:'muchay kuch nahi sunna...😡'she refused to listen to him and started walking out holding his hand, dragging him along with her. komal and adarsh followed her.krishna turned back and looked at pratigya.
pratigya:😲 😭 💔...felt as if her heart can stop at any time.unexpected pratigya do not know what to say.
sajjan:😲

pratigya:'😭...💔'in no time she managed to come out of her shock , ran with her short quick steps and grabbed his free hand.naina turned back and looked at pratigya holding krishna's other hand and stopping him. krishna was held between his mother and pratigya.
pratigya:'aunty...issa maat kiji yeh...please...😭...💔'she begged her.
naina:😒
pratigya:'thum jo bolo gay wo mai karoon gi...💔..😭...muchaj jo saza thay ni hai thiji yeh ....don't take him away from me....😭'she said with a loud cry.her cry can even melt mountains.the lady police and other department people looked at her with pity.she did not care about others and cried openly. naina left his hand.for a second pratigya over whelmed with emotions and tried to hug krishna.
naina:'ek minute...😒'she came in between them.
pratigya:😲 😭 💔....she winced.
krishna:'maa...😲 😭'
naina:'pratigya...muchay nahi patha thum dara dhamka kay krishna se kyun shaadi ki. aaj thak mai jaan na bhi nahi chahi...'she paused with painful heart. today she regretted for her own action.
pratigya:😭 💔.....she felt a strong jolt inside her chest,looked at her holding her breath.
naina:'from the day you married krishna ...maine thumai mere bhahu maana hai.thum jaanthi ho?... mai ghuth krishna ko thumare paas bhayji thi.kyun ki mai chahathi thi mere betay ko zindagi ki har ek kushi mele.mai jaan thi hun ek patni ka suk aur kushi srif ek patni hi thay sakthi hai maa ya behan nahi.par mai nahi chahathi iss kay leyeh mera beta ithna bada sazaa bhugathay...mere wajai se mere betay ko yeh din thayk na pada...😭...yeh sab meri hi wajai se hai...' she shattered.
krishna:'maa...issa kuch nahi hai...😭' he was surprised to see his mom crying.her tears are adamant.... never comes out from her eyes that easily.he knows his mother is a very strong and bold lady who managed three children all alone when she lost her husband all of a sudden.
naina:'bas bahuth hochuka...ab aur nahi...chalo mere saat...😭'she quickly wiped her tears, dragged him with her and walked out.while going with naina krishna turned back and looked at her with lot of pain and helplessness in his eyes....
sajjan:'nainaji aap sahi nahi kar rahay hai....'
nainani:'maaf karna sajjanji....'she is not ready to listen any one.
pratigya:😭...💔 🤢...she stood staring and shedding tears.short of gilt pierced her heart.
krishna:'maa...don't do this...💔 ...issa maat karo maa....😭..'
naina:'muchay kuch nahi sunna hai...😭' she stood stubborn and took him with her leaving every one speechless.
pratigya:'😭 🤢 💔...........
