Marriage responsibilities

I have read a lot of posts where people are predicting a pregnancy track for Kriya. I cannot think of a situation more unappealing or retrograde given the current set of situations in the Thakur household. I would much prefer a track where Krishna starts understanding his responsibilities as a married man and pulls up his socks in a manner which befits a leading man in a show. For long we have had posts of how Pratigya is not fulfilling her marriage vows by not allowing consummation. But, in the same wedding Krishna also took vows of being a provider to his wife for the entire life. This is the main vow that a groom takes in a hindu marriage – to earn a living through righteous and proper means and provide the basic amenities to his wife for a healthy and comfortable life. So, now that the consummation track is out of the way, isn't it opportune to show Krishna developing as a responsible and accountable human being – willing to shoulder the financial responsibilities of his marriage alongside the physical commitment. Even Shakti is shown as looking after SS's property/business sometimes.

Yesterday's scene of Krishna spending a whole day loafing and goofing around with his equally shiftless friends as a carefree, callow, irresponsible youth somehow rubbed me the wrong way. It might have been an appropriate scene in Balika Vadhu but not in a show where the protagonist is a strapping, intelligent young man. IF nothing, at least show him helping Pratigya in her household duties. Pratigya bechari saare din akeli bed arrange karti rahti hai.

Whether Kesar Krishna or Pratigya.... The show should bring out the fact that everyone needs to be financially independant

I've seen many posts raising q s' about police complaint, pratigya niwas and pratigya baby track

It needs to happen in sequence Kesar to realise she cannot be mute all the time... Krishna to become a responsible husband and start earning... He has desire to keep P as a queen but he needs to make some efforts towards it... I wouldnt have objected to the track where first Krishna pratigya became independant and then consummated their marraige...


Dont get mw wrong I love Krishna but he also needs to be responsible and i think thats where the track will head towards

well said yemi,evn tho im a huge krishna deewani,i too thnk dat he shd be a lil bit responsible..aftr all hez nt d same guy hu used to roam n hangout wit hs friends.......he's a married man nw.......n he shud b responsible only if he live on hs own....out of Thakur niwas........

Very nice point 😊. And I agree with you about Krishna and how he needs to grow up a bit and take up some responsibilities. And the pace with which Krishna as a character has shown considerable growth over the period of time, I am sure CVs have this thing in mind too. I didn't mind him loitering around with his friends taking life less seriously even in yesterday's episode since he's been brought up that way by his family.He is everyone's beloved baba and has been given liberties even Shakti was deprived of.
