Pratigya did not give in to the eve teasers, nor did her family. Pratigya married him intending to teach him a lesson, but he taught her as well. There are still atrocities against women in the Niwas, against her SIL and against her own sister, that are being addressed here. She is still a target for her inlaws.
Pratigya took her revenge long enough, on the Krishna that was very demanding and brash. But Krishna is not the same man he was before marriage, and they have shown that. Nor is Pratigya the same woman she was before either. She gave herself to him, but he also gave himself to her. Noone forced her into marriage, she went against her parents' will to marry him. She caused him a lot of pain in the process, it wasn't just her. Krishna has protected her over and over again, even when he found out she was keeping secrets from him. Even his own sister married her brother.
They both consented because they both forgave each other their transgressions. They are both married. How is that a bad message? They are married by law, noone should really have an objection.
Krishna's real nature came out after he married Pratigya and was forced to make choices by his family about her. He chose her every time. He forgave her, cleaned off her face, he taught her how to love him back not through force but by his own conduct towards her and her family. He treated her family with respect and compassion.
I absolutely agree with you. Pratigya and Krishna have both changed for the better. They have now reached a stage where they are happily married. However they have now become one and will stand up for what is right together. There are many issues that they will now play a part in correcting, like; The Thakurs trying to kill Pratigya, Arushi and Shakti scenario, Shakti changing the way he treats his wife Kesar, and Krishna's Dad treating his Mother right and Ghantilaal finally speaking! I think this is how the original concept will be running through the show.
