Tanthya,
Well written dear......😊
I hope Krish maintains his self-respect for some time more, that must make Prats realize that he cannot be taken for granted...as he was always taken for granted by herself and Saxena parivaar.

Yes Tanths! Dunno what happened but I lost all that I had written. 😭 I was trying to find a reason for my silence. 😊

Basically, I was trying to say that I find I have nothing to contribute to this continued polarized viewing of the show. The show has never been for me about Krishna vs Pratigya. They have been represented as the antithesis of each other, and to me the differences between them has been the charm of the show. It was never about taking sides, but about seeing how the slow attrition of soul-deep attraction and finally love will finally erase the differences between them. Especially at this point where the most delicious fruition and fusion are imminent, I am even less inclined towards a polarized viewing of the show; I find it diminishes my pleasure.

Yes, there IS an inherent polarization within the show. That between right and wrong; As represented by the Thakurs and the Saxenas. However attractive the Thakurs and however apparently boring the Saxesnas might be portrayed, a right-minded viewer is never allowed to forget which is the side of righteousness. But many viewers carry this over into the love story and erroneously suspect that within it, Krishna has been cast on the wrong and Pratigya on the side of right. This is not true. While Krishna is not just a Thakur, Pratigya is not just a Saxena. The truth is, both of them are start with a different handicap and both are striving to leap towards the side of right, the side of love. When there is such a current of natural attraction between them, I find it disruptive for us as viewers to be pitting one against the other. If they are tugging at a rope it is to work their way towards each other. Pyaar ke kachche dhaage ke sahare ek doosre ko khoj rahein hain. I find it unnecessary to behave like we are on opposite sides of teams in a Tug-o-war.

And since (barring a very few) most members urge you to take sides, I am at a loss to react. 😕

Hami, No no, I am sorry, did that sound like a rant? Not at all, not at all! I am sure I'll be back with poetry and posies before long 😉. It is just that sometimes, I feel like "Guys, this is a romance we are viewing,
not a "kusti ka akhaada!"😆
Debates are always fun, if they are grounded in the immediate. For instance if we were only to debate whether Krishna is being too harsh or not by taunting Prats it would be cool. But if the entire catalog of their sins is visited on them by either supporting group when ever any point is being made, it looks like the two worst characters in history have been put together in a rather depressing game of cat and mouse. 😲
But I think it is just the tension and suspense of the upcoming events that is causing stretched nerves and all will be well after you-know-what! 😉😳😍

Dyehard,

Hey friend, why show such a despair, I know somewhere these fictional shows connect with something, some incident, some aspect of our own lives. Here Krishna-Pratigya love story have several dimensions that can not be comprehended by all. Viewers choose what and who they like and hardens their stance and pov, sometimes unwillingly but they tend to stick with it and refuse to come out of that shell.

Dye you are such a person, such a darling that we don't want to loose you, we don't want to miss reading your posts, you shouldn't get deterred by some immaturity and silliness, remember you once preached me. Now you? come on!!!. For you and me this unique love story between the two gems called Krishna and Pratigya is enough to fill our appetite for seeing and enjoying their immense,-intense- delicate, love-hate-romance relationship. forget any thing else. 😃

Great to read ur post ..

I do agree with you..Pratigya is vulnerable ,but she is also indestructible...So I don't give a damn about Thakur's and their Insinuation's ..

I perfectly understand Bab's reaction and it is quite natural and expected ...he has had mickey taken out of him !!naturally he is going to almighty angry and Royally miffed ... being a straight forward guy, he will deliver stinging blows directly to the concerned member...he will try hurt the person who gave him immeasurable hurt !!

Pratigya will not grovel, she will be gentle, understanding and reasonable..she has to give him some space to think and not crowd him ....and she is doing it .....he himself has said that "one day you do something that gets me hopping mad, and the very next instant you do something else that calms me instantly leaves me filled with love....well, we have to wait for that something else ...

Tanthyatope,
Quite agree with bold. she has been behaving quite sensibly. But perhaps too sensibly, do you think? Would it perhaps be better if she sort of broke down a bit and shown a little vulnerability and insecurity? I mean if she sort of had a bit of a breakdown similar to the one she had in the hospital, don't you think that might be a cute scene? Krishna wont know how to handle it and may be quite mollified and it might go a long way in reassuring him that he is very much in her thought and has an equal power over her.😳
I mean, as long as she is trying to be very gentle and understanding, he will always think that her actions as motivated by duty and will never think she is desisting due to concern for his feelings.
Time to let that dam burst, lady, and show us some of that passion we suspect you got! 😉

Damn! Now I am embarrassed. I swear it was not a tantrum, just a momentary irritation of nerves.😆 No despair indicated whatsoever! I was just reacting to months of criticism from the two camps rather than any fresh developments or specific reactions. Just that things are so delicately poised now that it deserves all our attentiveness, rather than revisiting old habits of blame-mongering.
