Had he listened to his Amma or his Bauji or some passerby and doubted his wife ...ur question is a valid one..but he heard this straight from the horse's mouth, not once but twice ...and naturally his faith and trust will be shaken to its roots ...A lesser man would have taken the easier route and thrown his wife out [A very realistic situation] ...but not Krishna...he still is maintaining his side of the bargain...

Despite his exhaustion and being on the verge of physical collapse ...he pulled up his final reserve of energy to suck the poison out ..what more shud he do to prove his love...Don't tell me that was Humanity ,,,There were 2 men who were content to stand around not doing anything ...
