Amma may be a villain but frankly speaking whatever she said today was right . I felt very very sorry for her when Krishna chose Pratigya over her to stay in the hospital .

A few guilty sobs on his chest does not obliterate the mental abuse she deliberately put him through bcoz she was riding a misplaced high horse of REVENGE . . Guilt is hardly LOVE . When Ghanti Dadi started glorifying Pratigya to her grandson by repeated signs that SHE WAS THE ONE WHO BROUGHT U BACK TO LIFE , SHE , SHE , SHE . Amma rightly and sarcastically commented . Arre Yes amma , we know , we Know . But lets not lose sight of the fact that she was the one who put him in this position in the first place . . Such TRUE words were never uttered in the whole episode . Forget the poison sucking ........lets say Krishna did it of his own accord . But prior to that , the mental state of Krishna where he was roaming the streets of Allahabad in chronic depression .........Pratigya had definetely led him to that point . . A woman who destroyed every innocent moment of his happiness ...be it his eager beaver attitude on Suhag raat night , the smile on his face when he wore the I love u T shirt innocently on his honeymoon , The shame she subjected him to when everyone understood he was NOT having a normal life in the bedroom ..........Every moment of his was killed by Pratigya when all it wud have needed for her to achieve her goal was a SIMPLE NO to the marraige . . The Prof later went to jail and showed that fear of badnaami was hardly something they cared about .By spilling bedroom secrets in open and telling in open court that she was kidnapped Pratigya proved that she never was scared of badnaami . . Yet she did the marraige for so called badnaami factor it seems . How RIDICULOUS it seems in retrospect . . Amma constantly does Baba jap but hardly gets a glance from her son or any emotional acknowledgement from him . What had this girl ever done for him except give him tremendous mental torture ? . Can one see the sad face of the mother , devalued by her son , for a wife who hardly even cared about him ? A common story all over the world ..........men are often like this . .Her whole Nautanki family who sang Aarti in hospital and what not had ALWAYS done only one thing .........given each other sneaky uncomfortable looks whenever he had dropped in even briefly at Mumfordgunj , for a few minutes . And this was the family who was so much in love with him and their Beti was the epitome of WIFELY VIRTUE ! The one who didnt even BECOME A WIFE in the true sense .
Till the end it was Krishna who saved her .........from the snake bite , then from his family .....for NOW they will think twivce before killing her as Krishna stands once more between them and HER .
And yet it is Pratigya who is glorified .
