hey i agree with you yaar... on all your points... but pratigya alone cannot be blamed nah... due to so many misunderstandings caused by angad in middle she did not even know what was happening... and krishna was not exactly doing much positively to show that he was not in the wrong whatever angad did krishna although unknowingly complimented it by doing something on top of it and when it came out it was obvious that krishna did it... pratigya had to suffer a lot... i know how that feels like... i have been through that... how can you love a guy who has supposedly done all those things in your life??? shamed the girl and family infront of so many people?? pratigya never wanted to marry krishna in the first place... and when she did how can you give up everything you have to a person who has done so much to you... but on other hand the way krishna showed that love, even though it was genuine, was not the correct way... and in case of amma, she had to accept that he is also a man of the same household and he will only treat her like that, and not any differently... if she wanted to reconcile, she should have stepped into ghanti dadi's shoes and hugged him and cried with him that day... he has only started changing his ways now... he has only started understanding woman, whether his wife, grandmother or whoever it is, now... pratigya has always been his love, from day one, and is his and we take care of things close to heart with utmost sincerity and dedication and that's what he did with pratigya... she is his... and that's why he chose her over his mother.. and amma exactly hasnt been treating her in the right way so how will he give amma a chance he can only save and stand for his love.... i agree she is his mom, but she cannot accept jealousy and cruelty to keep her son close to him.... and it was amma who spilled out their bedroom secrets first... pratigya was forced to spill it that day... because at the end of it if there was no baby then also she will be blamed... so any way loss and blame was going to be hers. eventhough krishna did it so that she didnt have to do all the housework but pratigya didnt realise that intention of his.... pratigya did not know anything... most of her actions from the start can be justified with has happened to her... they just had no other way... but now shes realising that krishna was truly in love with her and truly loves her, she is realising only now, when she lost him... then only she started understanding and i think she is doing her best to start a new realtionship with a newer meaning and this time honestly accepting that she is his wife, and whatever or whoever has any right on her that is only her husband and i think she is going to do whatever it takes to accept that and start believeing it....
just my point of view guys.... sorry for long post... hope i didnt bore you... 😊

Great post Kool 👏 It's great seeing you around again. I've missed your posts.

I agree with everything being said here. Amma as a mother has every right to hate prats. Considering prats treatment of her cherished son that's totally understandable. I've never felt she was wrong about this.
Yesterday, i've read posts saying how Amma is a vile woman because of her "nautanki" comment seeing the saxenas women doing aarti and her not letting Kesar join them. I disagree with this.
I thought it was in character and very legitimate for her to do so. Like she knew prats only married for revenge, she sensed that her son's sasural have never truly accepted him. Here she is a mother hell bent in fear of losing her son whom she loves like anything and there she sees people who hardly know krishna doing all this charade. I say it's perfectly normal of her to react the way she did.
Hell, even I was yelling nautanki in my mind when i saw them praying. Nainaji, i could understand as she has a tendancy of crying at the drop of a hat and like her pati, has been known to switch side with the wind. But Aarushi and Dadi1 😕😕

I agree with everything you said about Pratigya and Amma above Kools. It is for these reasons and these reasons alone that looking through the mother lens, pratigya seems unfit and unpalatable as a woman, a wife and a person.

But at the bolded that is one area in which I must say we differ slightly, I am not appalled at Krishna's behaviour, saddened yes, definitely. which mother of boys wouldn't be. I have two sons (no daughters and my MIL has three boys no daughters so in that respect we are in the same boat my MIL and I) and I have seen this happen time and time again when boys get married and become men, the loyalties and affiliations change, rightly or wrongly. this has even happened to my two BILs. they are not bad guys believe me I knew them before marriage very well and this change has only happened after marriage.

I am very saddened by it and first I was very upset with both of them, then I realized that this is Life. It is a fact and rather be saddened by it, I have dropped my own expectations to zero in this regard.

Krishna never ever respected his mother. he loved her but never respected or needed her so I did not expect any different response when he awoke. In fact in the entire show I can only remember 1 time when he would have needed her support and he did not get it ( two weeks ago when he came out very depressed from the bedroom and Amma and Shakti taunted him). At that time he turned to his dadi for the solace he was lookign for. I am sure he does not blame Amma or anything but he cannot rely on her. He only relies on his father.

All she has sensed is non acceptance of her son and her family from that family .At such times when the wound is raw one cannot pretend , all defences r down , all shutters r down . As u say it was very legitimate for her to do so .
It was not she who did the nautanki . The greatest nautanki was Arushi singing the Arti . Amma was real in her hatred , she did not pretend .Not pretending is NOT nautanki .But insulting a person like a dog and then doing Artis for him in public places indeed is NAUTANKI .

Exactly....i felt so bad for amma....because no matter what she loves Krishna way more than pratigya does....your rite at the moment pratigya isn't feeling any love but guilt....amma might be the negative role but sometimes i feel she has her reasons for being that way....i mean finding out about their relation(no c-night) and then pratigya announces to the whole world that she was kidnapped before marriage by a gunda....obviously the actions she has taken ie. try to burn Pratigya alive haven;t been rite but no matter what i would say for Amma her baba is her life....and fore pratigya a way to redeem herself for the wounds she continuously inflicted on krishna.

Seriously - all of you who have posted on this message - are you mothers' or mothers in law ? Fascinating to read all your viewpoints. I am not critizing anyone - just wondered. I am amazed at the difference perspectives on it.
