So the 2 days passed off, and pratigya was on her way to krishna's granny's house. Krishna who managed to hire a car somehow dropped pratz at the gates of the large house and went off to drop nitin to d station. Pratigya followed the security guard in, expecting to meet a old granny at the door. But went the door opened she found a abandoned house. She turned to the security guard and asked him but he simply replied " this house has been locked up for 2 yrs"

P; but doesn't kris…I mean Mr singh's grandmother live her??

"she doesn't" said a voice behind her"

Pratigya turned to fing Krishna standing at the entrance with his hands in his pocket.

K(contd…): bcse she died 2 years ago

*SHOCK*

P: but..but…

Krishna walks towards her while she takes a step back.

K: ya I know wat u must be thinking…. I lied, bought u 2 a empty house, etcetrera etcetera….but don't take me wrong!!!

Pratigya widened her eyes still staring at him, keenly watching for any move from his side, but he made none.

K: earth calling to urmmm….wats yr name again???

P: p..p..pratigya

K: ya pratigya…so where was I ???

P: (blink)

K: ya…so don't take it wrong….i just wanted to give u a change from that place….u needed it

P: wat do u mean???

K: I'm a psychiatrist specializing in human behaviour and moods. I hv been studing u from d past 2 days. U require some help, ur desperately a in need 4 change. I thought it wud b pleasant if I talked to u away from yr home. Help u overcome a particular fear u hide in yr heart, in short help u

P: tats none of yr business

K: but…

P: I don't need help and I don't hide any kind of fear. period

K: I'm sorry…I shud hv asked u 1^st

P: I want 2 go home right now….

K: fine…. Cum I'll drop u

P: hmm

He started d car and backed out of the garage. Turning d car to d gate he pushed the accelerator, and the car sped towards the gate.

K: I'm sorry….. I didn't mean to hurt u.

Pratz just ignored him for she was quite angry. For a moment she felt he wished to take advantage of her but then d thought came 'never'. No one in their right sense will like to touch her. Not that she was dark had oily skin or had some kind of skin condition. No, she was fair with normal skin, silky long hair and a perfect figure but her face was d problem. She looked like a character right out of a horror movie. Children screamed and hugged their mothers wen they saw her come. Her face was the perfect nightmare for children. Their was a joke which Mrs chadda and mrs gupta use to say specially in her presence "whenever our children don't sleep we threaten them with showing them her(pratz) face….they automatically go to bed". Her ugliness was her greatest enemy. She cud be pretty, cute maybe having dimples, a college hottie, all if only d terrible accident hadn't occurred.

When Krishna had made her face reality her blood had begin to boil. He had told her right on her face that she hadn't been happy with her marriage. Yes she led a unhappy life, a sad existence. Several times she had decided to kill herself, wanting to end everything but then restrained her feelings. She wanted to slap Krishna there and there for resurfacing the truth from which she had been trying to hide. She didn't want to face the truth again, the truth of her life.

K(poking her thoughts): heloooo

P; hmmmm

K: see I'm seriously sorry…I dint mean it…I just felt..

P(looking over his shoulders): u hv no right to intrude into some1s life….im happy hw I am and don't want any help from u…thank u very much.

K: u know wen ppl lie they look away…afraid to look into the other persons eyes.

P: wat do u mean??

K: I mean that u r lying.

P: wat????.....u…

K: if u r really happy in yr life then look me in d eyes and say it.

Pratigya looks away.

K: comeon….say tat u r happy…u don't need help…comeon

P: SHUT UP……JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH…..U DON'T KNOW ANYTHING….YES I'm SAD…..VERY SAD…..WANT TO KILL MYSELF….THIS IS WAT U WANTED TO HEAR ISNT IT????....HAPPY NOW

K: see…I was right….u looked right into my eyes wen u said it.

P: listen mister…..just shut up and drive

K: fine….

He looked in d front and drove silently. Pratigya was burning from within. Afraid that any minute her tear glands will burst and she may start crying. His claims were right, but she didn't want to accept them.

Mrs Chadda looked out of her window, eyeing the a young couple talking in d parking lot. The new couple hd recently moved into d society and she had a doubt that they were unmarried and were hving a live-in- relation. She was dyingto find out the truth and wasn't able to digest anything till she discovered it. Her notice them moved to a car entering the parking lot. The car wasn't one of the residences so then whose was it. She watched a young man step out of the shiny car.

C: milly…milly…cum fast

G: wat is it molly??

C: shikna launda….straight down

Mrs gupta bent out of the window to look at the new item. When her eyes fell on his face, she froze. He was so cute, more cute then anyone in d building especially her mahaan over-weight husband Mr Gupta. She flew off into a trance where only she and that guy were there singing in a meadow "kuch kuch hota hai". Mrs chadda impatiently poked Mrs gupta, spoiling her dream.

C: I also want to see

G: just look hw cute he is…whos he??

C: hw am I suppose to know???....move

She squeezed beside milly to stare down. The new couple had vanished by this time, much to her dismay. Now she glanced at d new guy, who was un loading some luggage from his car.

G(hopefully): do u tink hes shifting here

C: but there r no empty flats

G: then????

Mrs chadda was about to give her opinion wen the passenger door opened and pratigya stepped out. She was still annoyed. She watched Krishna unload her 2 bags. Krishna closed the dicky door and asked her "do u want me to take them up 4 u"

P: yes…..plz

He heaved up d bags and carried them into d building while milly and mooly nudged each other.

The lift door opened and Krishna walked out with d bags followed by pratigya. He dropped them at pratz's doorstep and looked up to find to broadly smiling ladies. Milly and molly had rushed down d stairs to pratigya's house with different motives. Molly (chadda) wanted to scrapout some gossip which she cud spread while milly wanted to meet the dream man aka Krishna.

C: Namaste…aap kaun???

K: main…..

P(cutting him): Mrs chada aap yaha???

C: yea we werfe just passing by…and bumped into him…whose he???

Milly put her hand forward caught krishna's hand and forcefully shook it.

G: hello …I'm milly gupta…aur aap??

Krishna pulling his hand away replied "Krishna singh"

C: Krishna….so ????

Pratigya knew quite well that she was trying to extract info from them butted in between. She opened her flat door and said "u can leave them in and GO".

G: but he has just come…he must b quite tired from hauling those heavy bags…..atleast ask him for a drink of water

K: no its ok….i'll leave

G: no..no…u cant (Krishna stared while she blushed)… I mean u come to my house for water….(to pratz) she was no manners to treat guests…come

K: no its ok..aunty

Mrs gupta almost died of shock.

G: aunty…wat do u mean by aunty…do I look tat old to u??

C: ahem ahem…..

Milly realizing suddenly backed off.

C: so Krishna…wat brings u here???....her relative???

K: no …I just..

P: hes a far-off cousin

C: oh!!!

K: I''ll take u all ladies leave…bye

He went to the lift and left. Mrs chadda nad gupta also left with their noses high in d air.

Just wen pratigya shut d door and thought she wud hv some rest the bell rung. Thinking it must be that pesky chadda nad gupta again she pulled the door open angrily and screamed "wat???"

K: I just forgot something

P(realizing): oh!!!

K: here this (putting a card in her hand)…..if u tink that I was right and need professional help that's my number.

P: I don rquire yr assistance…u can hv I t back (giving the card back)

K: no harm in keeping it…..it doesn't bite u know *smirk*

Pratigya took the card and shut d door on his face.

Will she try facing her fears???Will pratigya decide to ask him 4 help??? What will this fight lead to??
