Sajjan singh arrives in time to overhear about the plot to burn Pratigya....He asks "What Drama is running here ?" ...{ he is the director and he doesn't know, himself ..} *he looks like the mean, Cruel replica of Santa claus*..he again says "What is Komal Saying"..were you planning to burn Pratigya ?..he comes and places his hands on Shakthi .[very suggestive, Ss is supporting Shakthi,is leaning towards Shakthi but cant say it openly in front of Komal] ...He turns and looks at the serpent [SS words, not mine] ....walks up to her ,slaps her saying "How dare you do that?..You shud have thought about Baba ..what is ur hurry [and here he lets slip the priceless clue, a valuable hint ..not understood by SHakthi or Amma] ...he says "AT LEAST YOU SHUD WAIT TILL THE ELECTION'S" [It is now officially confirmed Pratigya will be alive until elections..after that ...??]...he again goes towards Komal and tells her not to worry, he will drop her in her sasural and get Pratigya back to her Sasural ...and forthwith they depart ...

Brilliant Acting by SS and Amma ..........the way he strolls in but every movement conveying his tightly controlled anger [election Boat ]...and his instinctive support of Shakthi's action by placing his hands on shakthi's shoulder but uttering empty words aimed at allaying and lulling Komal and his hint ..wait until election..were simply superb ...⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amma's expression when she hears SS first words ...her stupification at his reaction [since she knew SS was intent on killing Pratigya] ..her fear,Pain and outrage when SS slaps her !!⭐️⭐️

Pratigya arrives at the doors of the sax..and everybody treats like the prodigal daughter has returned and and also every body utters their inane dialogues * Me ! I am clenching my teeth, my nails are digging onto my arm rest and my eyes are glazing over...The sax always manage to do that * ...Pratigya assures them, she is alright !! and has a dekho around and notices her Papa is not There ... She asks then where is he ? and is told that Papa is inside his room and has been there ever since his return [If he really was staying inside the room ever since his return, he might very well have stayed inside the prison..and none of this disaster would have happened] ...Pratigya walks in to his bed room and Mutual apologies are exchanged ....and few more tear jerker lines are uttered ...😭😭😭😭 *there I have done my bit * .....A bit of reality seemed to have seeped inside Prof's skull..for he made a few sensible comments today .. he commended Krishna by saying that "Krishna has always stood by you, You too shud respect his love , whatever he is , he is a good Husband "..Pratigya silently acknowledges this truth by shedding even more tears ....

Yest we were all fuming about Pratigya's decision to visit Maika ...on hind sight I do think it was necessary for Pratigya...She has always been a daddy's girl and yest his stamp of approval was the final seal required to prod her into fully accepting Krishna ...we thought that It was Krishna under scrutiny and we were all irked by this, a nights reflection on this aspect..and a slow glimmering of another facet came to me....what if the stamp of approval was not for Krishna , but for herself?Hear me out !! WE all accepts that Pratigya is a Daddy's Girl...being a Daddy's girl..she overrode her father and accepted a proposal that was completely opposed by her father ...she had disappointed him !!had Hurt him !!had let him down !!.. and this was causing her guilt ...and her subsequent actions of putting her father first, running to her maika, an overzealous urge to solve all her maika's problem ,was in trying to placate her father , and redeem herself infront of him ..she could have held back in her relationship with Krishna, cos Prof disapproval of Krishna too played a part ...yest approval and his commendation finally absolves her of any residual guilt and now she can go full throttle into being a Krishna's Rukmini ...

Shakthi is releasing steam ..to Amma...and Amma is listening to shakthi when she chances upon Kesar's face..the change of expression on her face , her insane anger and violence that is always lying dormant.....her blind hatred !! and her taking it out on hapless Kesar !!👏

Amma reminded me of King Cobra !! with its Hoods raised watching its prey intently and trying to mesmerize its intended victim into statue like state before uncoiling itself to strike viciously and with deadly accuracy and that is what happened, first she fixed Kesar with gimlet like stare, then she measured the distance and uncoiled herself and spew forth Venom on innocent Kesar

Great post tanthya....loved reading your take on Shyam's words to pratigya!!....finally pratigya getting his dad's approval!!.....I wonder sometimes...it's a nice coincidence that Pratigya's father and her husband has the same name meaning!!😉...must have had a good reason for them to do that...

Anyways waiting for rest of your take on the epi!! 😃

No, Tanths, I don't think Pratigya is anybody's girl. Yes, she will dutifully listen to everything everybody has to say, appear to value their advice, perhaps even consider it, but boy, is she possessed of a ADHBHUT
obstinacy!
I don't think anybody's opinion of Krishna is important to her as her own assessment. She is far beyond her father's dull exhortations to value Krishna as a husband. He is not preaching to the choir, he is preaching to the pulpit! 😉 She was hearing her father out but she is far too private to reveal the true state of her feelings for him. Her only idea is to say enough to leave him feeling reassured. Her's has always been a lone journey and she takes no ones opinion about where to make a pit-stop.
As for all the characters having their say, that is the way these guys (CVs) like to play it out. Even in Krishna's case evreybody in the thakur household has his or her say -right from amma to dadi. But Krishna makes up his own mind. His wife is the same. It just makes for interesting drama when characters appear to be pulled in hundred directions. But these two are heat-seeking missiles. Never to be deterred from their course! 😆
She did not borrow counsel about getting married, or how to conduct her affairs, and she is certainly NOT going to wait for anybody's cue or moral permission to change her mind or take her marriage to another level.
All her parents urgings did not change her mind earlier (both asked her to accept Krishna before, but she took her time.) But once her mind is made up I doubt even Krishna can hold out! 😉😳

It is quite alright that Shamu is feeling such a great Kinship for his SIL, but I really don't think his daughter (for all her her great love of Papa) needs his approval or validation.
She may be unhappy if her parents dislike Krishna now, but I really doubt even their disapproval can change her mind.
Arre! even all this locking up and torture can't keep her away from that house, just because Baba might come back, I don't think a little approval or disapproval will sway or influence her, beyond a little relief or sadness (as the case may be)
I am just saying this because i feel that Shamu might try and get her back to Mudford gunj once he realsies that things are not perfectly hunky dory between her and Krishna, but Madam will flatly refuse.

Nice to read..and i want the same to happen to... I love this couple way toooo much!!

but is it soooooo strong as u put!!!

Hope u dint forget she was more upset on tha fake pregnancy becoz her sister saw in it the other way......

she felt bad that she had given ways to her family people to think ill of her by becoming pregnant....she was far more influenced by them..

so an approval from her papa shud really matter a lot for her.... she mite get rid of little of little doubts n guilt if any left in her...by her father's words!!

but n doubt she is in love with Krishna.....but head over heals love....????? time will answer!!

the day she openly declares Krishna is her world....(this is wat Krishna also wants) will assert this....her being discrete or she is too private and all doesnt asnwer much!!

nope he had a convo wid krishna in jail............he opened his heart to prof he was hurt coz he loved prats and she does not think him worthy enough to share her life wid him........................

and after seeing how he supported them during that mooh kaala incident and even said sorry................

so he is just guiding his daughter which all parents do .............................and whatever parents do for their kids well being is appreciated and never branded as being selfish.......................

I quite like your take on it!!...yes agree if she was ready to go back to that torture house just with this one hope that baba will come back...then I do think she has reached a point where no one's approval or advice will matter to her now ...she is slowly but steadily taking the path of love towards baba😳😳

Always enjoy reading your post Tanthya😃.

I am not entirely convinced with Prof. sudden respect for his SIL. I think he will still indirectly cause problems. I am surprised in all this that he has not reflected on his own advice which resulted him getting humiliated. He is to blame as well by advicing to keep the kidnapping quiet. What has made the Thakurs hurt is that the disclosure came out in a public forum without them knowing about it. For them they feel they have been decieved by the Suxsenas (not defending them, but just trying to understand their POV). As they are blood thirsty they react and respond accordingly.

I am not sure how they will go ahead of burning Pratigya alive after the election. Is Krishna going to stay away from the house till then? I hope not as they need to move that track forward. At the moment it is stalling. Also how long are they going to have Krishna in depressed mode? The Cvs need to bring him out asap.

I feel the direction is sorely lacking at the moment. Too much is happening at the same time, and unable to concentrate on one aspect properly.

nice post 👏 well i think enough has been said on saxena's n i dont wanna waste my time on them im just waiting 4 the kriya confrontation. eagerly waiting 4 that. once they are together everyone else can go.......tel lene 🤣

Though I like to joke about it, don't get influenced by my name!😛 I may be dyehard, but I only see a romance if it is there to be seen! 😃 For instance (don't know if you watch sarural genda phool?) I would hardly say that Suhaana is in love with Ishaan, or if she will ever be capable of more than a comfortable loving marriage. But when a story has been laid with so much intensity, we just have to acknowledge it.
No comfortable and convention-bound love for Kriya! please! they are both about breaking barriers however subtlety the show it from Pratigya's side.
As for as the pregnancy fiasco, do you remember how delighted the parents and dadi were? how much they congratulated her, and how dissapointed they were on finding out tht Kriya does not even have such a relationship? Did that impress Pratigya with a need to consummate her marraige? did she even think of doing so, just because her parents really wnated it? No! she was not in the least convinced. She was embarrased for having her private life so much thought about by everybody and even discussed. She was not in a position to either deny or accept anything and she was feeling very silly about it. Half the reason she kept quite is becasue she did not wnat the whole world to know the exact relationship between her and Krishna. It is another matter that she went and blurted the whole thing out of frustration, later at that pooja.

Another thing, did you notice her expression when she came to know that Krishna is back? There was relief, happiness but also excitement and a little bit of fear. This imminent consummation has been on Prtaigya's mind all this while, perhaps even more than Krishna's!
She knows very well that Krishna is not going to be a tame sort of lover, and also he has always been ready to spring on her at the slighest encouragement. She ha salways wondered how she will handle him. At first it was anger and fear, when shecame to know about his innocence in the kidnapping she realised that it was only a matter before it happens, but she is a little scared and wants time. Now she is fully prepared and she knows that if Krishna comes back o his own, nothing is left to keep them apart. But though this thought fascinates her she is also slightly afraid of his "Aanch" or probably even of her own passions? 😳
As for guilt, I don't think she thinks on those lines at all. She may be a properly brought up girl, she may be a bit of an innocent, but she is certainly not lacking in guts nor is she in the least bit repressed.
