๐REMINDER: IT'S A LLLOOONNNGGG POST!๐
In a word, today's episode was "GUT-WRENCHING" to watch a gutted and tortured Krishna. His heart ripped out of his chest and stepped on, his self-respect, his pride and dignity almost demolished, as he struggled with his boat load of surging emotions. The light had gone out in his eyes. As always it was hard to tell what was really going through Prats's mind as Krishna outshined her in every frame of every scene,๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Krishna had been behaving like a simmering volcano when he left the courtroom dejected and dragging his feet. This had us, the viewers wondering where, when and how he would explode and let it all feelings run amuck๐ฒ Yet today, we saw Krishna who still stood by Prats and told his family that it was his right to handle the matter๐ with his wife in his own way. Surprisingly the Takurs didn't resist it.
What a class act!๐๐๐ผ Krishna apologized to Prof. for the gatiya act of kaala rang painting of his face on behalf of his family much to their annoyance. He showed more class in his little finger than the entire Sax family put together. It was painful to watch him wash Prats's face with so much care, the naked emotions in his eyes that spoke volumes.๐ The light in his eyes was gone๐. His dreams had been shattered, his trust had been toyed with, his love made a mockery of, and he was looking at her as if she were just a piece of sculpture that he loved๐ณ so much that needed to have the dirt washed off it's face.
Contrary to their talks before Krishna showed up to protect Prats, the Takurs sat resigned with disgusted looks on their faces bec' they couldn't believe nor stop Baba from cleaning his gori beebi's face of all the kaala face painting. It riled them to see him help his sasurji wipe off the kaala rang from his face as well. Krishna pouring the water into Prof. hands seemed rather symbolic.๐
Prats moved away from her Papa towards Krishna and fell to the floor crying. Somehow her feelings of hurt and sadness seemed immaterial in the face of what Krishna was experiencing.๐ Yet he didn't let her down yet again.๐๐ผ He picked her up and asked the Prof. to remain calm while his own emotions were still churning inside him. What was the point in Prof. reminding Krishna his children were raised with achche sanskaar?๐ฒ Prof.'s habit of giving speeches about his sanskaari ways need to stop immediately.๐ก He has ruined his children's lives enough already. Neither did Krishna care for it not does he understand his sasurji's educated ramblings.
Krishna respectfully made sure his sasurji was given a ride home๐๐ผ. Let's hope the Prof. never forgets that this is the same damadh he has never respected enough to welcome him to his house for a meal or even a FULL cup of chai. Some sanskaari loge (Can't you tell, I'm not very happy with anyone from the Sax family today,,,,,,grrrrrrrrrrr)
She and her saanskaari Papa had written off Krishna as an unpud gawar one too many times with a few dil ka achcha hai and hid the truth from him. So now they had reaped the consequences of her choices. What good does it do now?๐ฒ
Krishna led Prats away to their private abode away from the rest of his family as SS was taunting him about making the family name "shine". Did SS forget that his older kaliyug aulad KN was no saint,(he still hadn't heard about the kotewali visit to the Niwas just yet.) Didn't SS also once say he fathered a few children he had disowned? This buzurg sheri is a fine piece of work to do character atiyachar without a second thought.๐๐ผ He was truly a villainous evil no-good Takur these days.๐ก
Krishna took her to their room and Prats rushed to give him a hug.๐ค Whether it was out of gratitude or the beginnings of love, who knows, and who cares๐, really? IT'S TOO LITTLE TOO LATE, LADY! She had taken away his dreams and squashed them underfoot. How many times had she rejected his simple request to just hold her hand? She had winced and rejected his touch one too many times. So today of all days when he was feeling all these raw emotions, she gave him a hug?๐ฒ Baba repeated that she was not worthy of his love, the same words he spoke during the hollimoon. At it's core not much had changed since then. He said he did everything for her happiness even if it was against his own wishes, she had ripped everything to shreds and then he pulled out his gun and aimed it at her. Gut wrenching words from Krtishna, excellently portrayed by Mr. Behll!๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Krishna's anguished words to her "I trusted you, you lied, there is no forgiveness for that. You are a dokhe baaz, you played a game with me, made a fool of me, why? You never saw how much I loved you, you don't know what I am going through, you destroyed everything. You have left me in such a place that I have lost everything and still am alive. You destroyed everything. Why didn't you leave me? (WAS THIS REVENGE SWEET, PRATS?GGGRRRRRRRRRRR๐ก๐ฒ๐)
Komal ripped into her in-laws and reminded them that for a man who never let anyone touch his bike, to find out his wife had spent overnight in the company of three men was going to devastate him. As usual the Saxsenas looked at Komal like she was speaking in Swahili and they didn't understand her. Someone's got to give the Saxenas a few lessons in understanding their bahu and damadh's language, the language of the heart and to speak the truth. Way to go girl! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ผ Someone on Krishna's side when his world is on it's head.
Amma deluded herself she could get Baba back by getting rid of Prats. SS even went far as questioning Amma if Krishna was really his son. ๐กDid she forget her most recent "gatiya harkat"?๐ฒ SS, Amma and KN (aka Takur Trio) plotted on killing๐ฒ Prats and make it look like an accident They planned to get rid of her when Baba was not around. Unlucky for them their badi bahu had listened in on their plans standing in shock outside the strategy room at the Takurs.
Preview: Krishna asked Prats if she wanted to help him then she should leave him alone. Good going Baba! Time to get grounded in reality. Time for Prats to see his worth and win him with her love if she dares to try.
P.S: Writing today's epi plot was ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ A gripping, intense and a brilliant portrayal by Mr. Behll. Did the taunts, put downs, lessons in the name of revenge and putting her maike's interests front and center prove rewarding to Prats? Did she really feel empowered watching Krishna brought to his knees literarily and figuratively? Time to send Mrs. Baba to the dog house to reflect for a little while. Shoe on the other foot now. A new beginning!๐
