Some Reality checks for Pratigya

As I watch this show that promised REALISM ............I see the heroine very unaware of a lot of reality around her .

For one thing she constantly insists , WITHOUT knowing any facts of the case [ Her father has just shut his mouth and refuses to TALK] that her Father is BEKASOOR. He , most emphatically is NOT . He did go to meet Angad , He Did LET Angad 's hand go .There was a mysterious pause , a loop of time which is left for us to infer whether it was accident or a deliberate letting go of the hand . Point is , The Prof DID LET GO OFF ANGAD"S HAND . . Angad fell off when he and Adarsh fought . Adarsh DID go there with murderous thoughts . He should be the one in jail actually , instead he is going around talking to VAKILS as if he is a concerned bystander son . Adarsh went there armed with a bicycle chain to slash Angads face and a hockey stick to bash Angad's head . THAT murderous his intentions were ........he had NOT gone there to play hockey with Angad in the rain . Nor had he taken the chain to repair Angads Bicycle so he cud have a ride home . . So the Saxenas..........Father Son DUO are NOT innocent and indeed a murder charge can be slapped on them . In the States , the question wud be whether they shud be hauled in for first degree murder or manslaughter . In India the question shud be whether it shud be 302 or the other number for Accidental MURDER . But in NO WAY are they BEKASOOR .......Pratigya shud really stop saying that as it amounts to LYING .

Kools, I also think on similar lines...Pratigya has made her opinions based on her faith in her father and the story what Adarsh told...her judgement is not based on the evidence or the facts...

This is what I think happened on that day...

Actually, Adarsh was held at knife point by Angad and Adarsh pushed him hard. As a result, Angad was pushed the cliff end...So Adarsh's action has resulted in Angad's presumable death.... It could be argued that he did it in self-defense...but the trick here is HE attacked Angad with the intent to KILL him so his argument of self-defense becomes weak. See, legally, if Adarsh had not started the fight then Angad was the sole CRIMINAL in that situation because he was blackmailing Professor. But Adarsh also broke the law by assaulting Angad...

Morally, Adarsh has right to kill the Angad but legally not...

The only way out for Saxsena's is hiding the truth and proving it as an accident....

Here both are criminals - Angad and Adarsh.
Angad for harassing the saxsena's.
Adarsh for attempting to murder...

Kool, you expect realism from an Indian drama ji? They all say it, we are a close to reality-wrong!. This whole thing is blown so big, and it could eazily be resolved.

Ohh and this case will obviously be won b/c they are the good guys-so rationality is out the door. For Pratigya I feel that she is only the educated woman and what not to the uneducated in-laws-b/c they know no better ji. However, her maayka is educated so in that stance their actions must be right. Lets see how awesome this lawyer dude is

For realism, both Prof and Adrash will be in jail even if they get off the murder charge. With holding information from police is also a crime.

I agree in regards to female leads. Indian serials dont really have the guts to make the protagonist as a girl with flaws. They are usually pure and perfect and at the same time preaching to all and sundry.

TBH, I watch this serial for the acting and not to learn anything. For the first time I have been impressed with the standard of acting in an Indian serial, especially the Singh family (SS, Krishna, Komal brilliant actors and also amma and shakti are excellent in their roles)

i wont mind if sucksena father n son rot in jail for life pratgyas way of thinking.....her family n her can never be wrong no matter what

No matter wht even if pratigya wud hav killed tht ngad they wud hav shown her right coz shez d lead lady no matter wht she'll do they will show her mahaan n all tht very borin though

Life in UP Bihar is NOT easy . The society is narrow minded , rigid , and does not appreciate plucky women going around slapping gundas .The Saxes will be ex communicated in real life if they have a daughter like Pratigya. The gundas on their part will infuse such terror in the Saxenas Lives via rape , physical maiming etc that even police wont fall in the mess .Where the hell is this realism ? Why r they teaching young women to idolise Pratigya and befoolishly cocky and endanger their lives ?

Kool 🤗 Good post. But see this serial is not effecting young women. Its giving them the picture in such a manner that they should fall for a Guy like krishna, I mean the overwhelming support for Krishna in this forum only, is ample proof that how young girls are attracted to such a person. Whereas Pratigya is doing the opposite. The main concept of this show. Her character is being used to reflect that that slap was a mistake and the troubles thereafter came to her or her family could have been avoided. But that is not the real message, The real message is that this kind of a love story is not possible, That an educated girl could ever fall for a stalker goon and Girls going gaga over krishna is beyond comprehension. The exact opposite then what you are saying here.
