Kools,
Whatever the rights or wrongs of Krishna, but to get this type of blind loyalty from a husband is what any married woman would want. Married life is hard in itself but to have the loving support of a husband makes the journey easier. How else has she managed to fight without her husband's support?
Women dont get this type of support. Those suffering from domestic violence have to go into hiding because they dont have any other support or option but to rely on the state to help.
Like I mentioned before, Pratigya does not know what a bad marriage entails and what all problems a woman has to face without support. She will be facing the consequencies of her decisions till today. Has she been homeless? Does she have a baby to support? Is she living in a different country from her parents? has she given birth on her own without husband support No, she can run the her parents whenever she wants. Real issues are beyond her comprehension.
Blind loyalty is true indeed .Even in the Guruma scene he took HER side and went against his dad . What irked him later was the fact that indeed there was a grain of truth in what his mom spoke.......he was being terribly neglected as a husband and was being taken for granted .
Right from not changing her name , to Kesar to this point where he told her u go ahead , never mind that personally I dislike the lawyer , u can engage him for ur Dad , he has stood staunchly by her side . Behind her back when his family blasts her he defends her alone .
In normal life we dont see such staunch support . There r many clashes and men insist that their families be given precedence .Thats reality for u . Real domestic violence is horrible . I wont even go into that . What I see is a very imbalanced equation...that she goes out of the way to make life difficult for him with her non adjusting , taking the bull by the horn stands and he makes life easy for her with unconditional support . And so my pity as a viewer goes to him .
