I really dont understand on what basis Pratigya calls her dad inncoent. There is NO excuse for Self-defense, unless the Saxenas and the Sachai ka saathi Aman Mathur decide to lie. Self defense is only valid when your life is in imminent danger. At that time, Angad had not come to harm the Professor, he had called him to talk, or black-mail. Being black-mailed or harrassed by Angad doesn't give Prof the right to kill. Shyamji deliberately let go of Angad's hand.... this was shown very clearly. He was holding on firmly to Angad's hand, had flash-blacks, and then let go. All this while, Adarsh (the one who had gone with intent to kill, or at least gravely injur), was egging the Prof to let go of Angad.

SAM2U, the reason that girls are falling for a guy like Krishna is that when they compare about who is wrong and who is right, Krishna is shown to be more truthful, more sincere, loving and down-to-earth than Krishna. They see Pratigya as the flawed character, who is hiding mistakes, lying, and treating a loving husband like dirt.

As long Pratigya comes out looking strong and brave it really does not matter. The ideal daughter standing up for her father.

I've never liked court room sceneswhen I watch english soaps as there is no realism in them. The only result they want is maximum drama and high ratings. The outcome is always the same, the guilty go scott free and innocent go to prison. All it does it adds drama. Similarily, this is just to get the maximum drama.

Aman Mathur should in fact know about Adrash's involvement about the case. Otherwise, it would make him a very poor lawyer who does not know his facts proper;y. If not, he should investigate the case himself and now that the Prof has entered the circle of truth, he should tell the whole story to the lawyer.

She is party to a lot of lies . Either she just doesnt wanna see them or is conveniently not even going into them . Which is it ?

She's conveniently ignoring them. She must be aware of the truth. But to the Saxenas, it's no big deal hiding details which don't suit their needs. They always edit their version of the truth before speaking. I won't be surprised if even Aman Mathur knows only half the story. And even he is kind of regarding the SS and the Thakur family as the villians. They really had nothing to do with this. They hardly knew who Angad was.

And why does Pratigya go to court or jail all the time? Of course her in-laws would mind. Already she's going against them by getting a lawyer, but she didnt have the manners to call up Krishna and tell him she'll be home a bit late. If she had, Krishna would definitely have been more sympathetic towards her when she returned.

He will be charged of perjury if he stands and dramatically lies in court

They've omitted one crucial person in this whole saga, Komal. When she hears the truth about her husband and Pratigya who was so adamant to fight the case, dont you think as a fellow woman she has the right to know that her husband is going to the BIG HOUSE. Who will she blame, Pratigya.

Both father and son should have admitted their guilt and they would have got a lighter sentence.

Another thing that bugged me is that Suxsena's believe taking a life is a cardinal sin and that whoever they are those left behind dont deserve the pain, How come we have not seen any compassion from Pratigya and her dad towards Angads family. The professor seemed more concerned with keeping the secret of the kidnapping rather than the fact someone has been killed.
