The countdown to the truth begins

Mathur, the lawyer on a mission to find the home of his client came upon the scene of a petty crime. A young woman had toppled the milk cart and he took it upon himself to defend the milkman's right and do some pro-bono services for the good of his soul in one shot.😊 After questioning the manners and etiquette of the young brat Komal, he introduced himself as the lawyer representing the Prof. Sham.😕 Arushi on a mission of her own to make a good first impression invited the lawyer into their home.😳

Prats washed her jetani Kesar's feet as the soft spoken woman told Prats that her greatest gift for living in that hell hole of a mansion was that she was blessed with Prats as her devrani.😊 Does Prats listen to herself when she speaks? It was a surprise to hear her tell Kesar what could be better than WHEN SOMEONE STARTS TO UNDERSTAND YOUR LOVE (JAB KOYI APNE PYAR KO SAMAJNE LAGI)".😲 Exactly, young lady! When are you going to understand Krishna's love for you? Kabhi kabhi apne aap ko tho sun leejiye.😊 Too bad Krishna wasn't around to hear her say that.😕

The lawyer gets a warm welcome with a hot cup of Prof. favorite chai. What better samaan can he get and be intiated into the Saxena family? Krishna only got half a cup a long time ago.

Komal as usual was an unwelcome presence in the green house when Mathur started speaking about the Prof. case. Dadi panicked 😲Komal may hear the truth if the lawyer kept referring to Prats and kidnapping in his conversations long enough. Arushi decided to impress the young lawyer by putting her best foot forward and stayed quite🥱, while sending telepathic signals to Adarsh to stop the lawyer from saying too much in her bhabhi's presence. Adarsh who had up until then been in mute mode🥱 catapulted into Angrezi talk in a heartbeat signaling to the lawyer he'd prefer to talk later😉 in his wife's absence.😕 Not even a language barrier could keep clever Komal from interpreting her pati's signals to the lawyer. She let Adarsh know that she was on to him trying to hide things from her.👎🏼 She sent herself back in a huff😡 to her bedroom where the Sax family usually banished her when they needed to hide their secrets from her. Not one to forget her loyalty to her bauji and thrilled at the chance to play double agent she readily informed SS that the clues to the mystery behind Prof. refusal to get out of jail was linked to Prats.😲 Komal unaware that her short term memory had let her down big time forgot to tell her bauji about the discussion of kidnapping in her sasural's living room. The astute old lion would have smelled a feast had that information been relayed to him. Lady Luck had smiled 😃upon the Saxena family for yet another day.

Rukmini 😉(I mean Prats) was lost in thought churning butter wondering whether to spill the truth to her pati Krishna😕 about her kidnapping by Asura Angad, when her evil twin spoke up and squashed the idea. She worried how Krishna would deal with the information. Couldn't Prats try telling him the truth upfront? Baba gave Prats every chance to tell him the whole truth. Prats continued to worry about her Papa's self-imposed incarceration.😕

Meanwhile, Baba drawn like a magnet to iron fillings every time he saw his wife alone in the kitchen,😳😛😉 came in and wrapped his arms around her😳😉😛. He could have enjoyed an intimate, romantic moment in silence with his wife.😳😉 Instead he went patar-patar and reminded her of the "chakkars" of their respective fathers that ruined her already pareshaani mood and she took off like a deer fleeing the predator lion in the forest.😆 BTW, was Prats off for one of her marathon runs in the mansion to work off the tension?😲 Baba had changed😃. This time, frustrated but not livid at her rejection he asked her if not his wife would he get closer to his neighbor's wife? Good question Baba! He stands a better chance with the neighbor's wife than his own at this rate. 😆But lucky for Prats, Baba unlike Katra Naresh with the roving eyes,😡 has eyes for his wife only.😳 His mood spoiled Baba couldn't enjoy the taste of the butter either.😕😆😛

It was a replay of the same old game when Prats and Adarsh went to the new jail to meet Prof without first understanding the procedures involved in a murder trial? The Sax duo got a crash course on Trial 101 from the lawyer at the jail once Prof. gave them his Hancock on the documents that would move the trial forward. When Prats said "aap ki kasam" to Prof. Adarsh's priceless expression was "not another kasam again". 😕🥱

Prats informed Prof.that she was not going to run scared and would tell Krishna the whole truth about her kidnapping before he heard it from someone else👏 She does take a while to figure things out, doesn't she?😲 Why didn't she say NO to Prof. the day he asked her to promise him to hide these truths from Krishna?😕 Why didn't she tell Krishna (too many times to count at this point) when he asked her over and over again to spill the beans?😲😕 It might be too late now but she may have an excuse to pin it all on Krishna when he gets preoccupied with helping SS after Guruma's brainwashing.😕 He may not hear her just before the trial and the truth will finally come out publicly shocking the Takurs clan.😲

Prats should have been home protecting Baba from the hyenas that enter and live in the Takur Niwas.😈 Guruma's brainwashed Baba in her absence🥱. Guruma brought the emotional blackmail card front and center and reminded Krishna about his bauji's sacrifices for his ladla Baba.😕 At one point Guruma chanelled Janet Jackson with her rendition of "what have you done for bauji lately, ooo yeeah?"🥳 The wheels were turning in Baba's head again.😲😕😲 Between Prat's getaway from the kitchen and Guruma's manipulations, the timer has been set on the ticking bomb named Krishna😲. He may be forced to keep Prats around as a sacrifice to help his bauji win the election.😕😲

It seems krishna alternates the following phrases in conversations with Prats. "ka kehti ho?" "hum jaante hain" "tensionyao mat" or something along the lines of don't be pareeshan😆😆😆 when he says hum jaante hain I ROFL. he acts so gyaani yet he is so clueless about all these people, their conniving efforts and their ulterior motives.

loved it when krishna did the butter taste test. Who better than the makhan chor namesake?😃

Komal was sharp today. the omission of kidnapping in the report to SS was a purposeful ommision by CVs. I love how whenever the thakurs are involved in a scene there is no dragging in dialogue delivery. they discuss things quickly and even try and resolve them quickly.

I wonder how many days this cat and mouse hide and seek game will continue. it is very wearing and tiresome

Only unnecessary thing today was, that despite knowing Prats in-laws are causing problems for her, Adarsh still took her along to jail? I mean, he could have gone alone with the lawyer. In normal families, everyone tries to keep the women away from courts and jails and police stations. 😕

Oh, and is a KASAM such a big thing? I've often seen it being used in most tv serials as the most effective way of blackmail, of hiding secrets etc. 😕 Does that happen in real life, or is it just shown to be such a huge matter on screen?

elle, to me personally the Prof. seemed ready to end his vacation after missing his unending supply of chai at home. All Prats had to say "aap ki kasam" (an old hindi movie title btw) and suddenly he was ready to put his hancock on the papers. Adarsh was tired of his dad's notanki. For someone who was an accomplice to the event Adarsh seems to not care that he hasn't spoken up. He is the perfect damadh for SS. He should quit his bank job and train under Katra Naresh as his assitant and add to his arsenal of weapons, knives, hockey stick and chains with bandook, pistole. SS will be proud. Krishna uses his hand as his weapon whether to slap or stop someone from saying another word with his Bus, Bath Katham!😉
