Very true Meerarai. The Producers and director-scriptwriter Pearl should regularly visit this forum to know that she is and has downsized Pratigya and her capacities. How many girls can keep their head when eve teased and respond like Prats did in the train? When she goes and tells Krishna she 'll marry him? or for that matter keep cool and decide to be in the marriage and make it work in these days?
Shumi, your hatred of Prats since a long time shows you just cannot stand quite strong girls who know how to make a and take a firm stand in their life and get their way. You know this character of Pratigya has actually kept Krishna's strong faith in his wife. He knows she is one who 'll never back down when things look scary.
To all of you are telling that Pratigya is suseptible to lying,or hiding information from Krishna please remember all of us whether we are married or not yet married trust our parents implicitly in many aspects and do all that they tell us to do. Same with this girl whom all of us are watching avidly every night 10:30-11pm. She completely trusts her parents when they tell her that they 've seen the world and the truth if she tells will destroy her marriage. Though she wants to tell Krishna, she is unable to for this reason.
All of us as teenagers rebel against parents.But, when taking important life decisions we do remember their suggestions or advise and go accordingly. How many of us on this forum 've bravely told our parents NO this is not correct we will do what is right and face all that comes our way? It will take Pratigya some time to do this. It is completely in the hand of the director to bring this out.
She is a very emotionally balanced strong person. Otherwise she would have blabbed all about Kesar's abortion to her family and the world. Is it any surprise that Krishna keeps faith in her and not even his family?
So why don't we forum participants put pressure on the producers to get sense back into this wonderful story all of us love?

In my earlier post on a different topic I ve mentioned that Pratigya should be shown as a mature girl who knows the decision she has taken. It is not an easy one.But, the question here is does she want to opt out of this marriage? According to the story so far, no. So the producers need to become alert rewind and realise that they 've shown their leading lady to be a strong person emotionally. So, she needs to be shown as a woman who realises her husband's strengths and weaknesses- afterall she is a thinking intelligent woman who believes in taking action and not maintaining a stoic silence like Kesar.
Now your point that goondas don't change. Let us all face reality. Goondas like Krishna(hey he is a spoilt rich brat more than a goonda) do change. few don't.Educated men who harass their wives in the name of dowry what are they? Aren't they the real goondas who don't change.If this definition of goondas is correct then India is filled and made mostly by educated goondas who legally rape and harass their wives and get away with it. You can see it in most marriages around you in real life. So what do you now say about Krishna and the real life goondas(the educated husbands who are abusers legally approved)?
