I have been an avid watcher of Pratigya from December. Sometimes I wonder at all the thinking individuals who make sweeping statements about what they think actually happens and not happens in real life on this forum. Most are eager beyond measure to say that Pratigya-Krishna marriage never happens in life, we love the story of opposites and love stories are oommph etc, etc.
Here is a shocker to all of you I do know at least six such marriages that have taken place and three of the couples have met. Yes . Goondas in real life sometimes follow this Kriya pattern. But it does not turn out the way they are showing on tv. The marriages that I know that have happened this way, are all successful ones where they have all had kids and yes I have attended the all these children's birthday parties.
The major change which they have not had the guts to show in this serial so far is, the wives have all taught their husbands to read ,write and speak with better manners than what they were before their marriages!!! Three of them have even opened their bussiness the legal and right way and have supported their wives to go out and work from day one of them getting married!!!
Truth and reality is stranger than fiction.
All these kids are attending good schools too.
And if all of you are wondering the age group these couples belong to here it is 25-36. Many of them come and visit us occassionally to get blessings when their kids pass their final exams and move to the next class. Incase all of you are wondering about my profession, I am a lecturer in one of the numerous colleges that impart education in this country. And it is good to see these men former goondas going out of their way to help people when things go wrong in the neighbourhood.
But, the other aspect of life too can't be ignored. All goonda-goodgirl marriages are not as successful as this. But successful ones are there too and both the boy and girl put a load of effort to make it so.

that's why people are fans of the show and love prats and kris because yes we know it's not a typical love story or one that can happen in real life opposed to reel life but that's what gives the show it's spark he's a bad by with a good heart and she's the innocent girl that believes that everyone has some good in them if you just find it, and what girl doesn't want a bad boy that they can change 😉

I am very happy for the couples you had mentioned above but like you said my friend is a friend of a couple where the guy is a goonda and his wife is a normal innocent and sweet girl. That girl was hardly around 16 or 17 when that stalker forced her into marriage.By the time my friend graduated this friend of her's was a mother of three and tht goonda husband of her's ill treates her so badly every single day.Her parents don't even consider their daughter to be alive although none of it was her fault

Thank you mallikaBalu for your thoughts in this. I cannot understand this divide.....Krishan isn't a typical gunda - he doesn't drink, smoke or goes around killing people....all he did was fall in love and did everything all the wrong way round......Pratigya, is a good at heart girl and given time she and krishna would find common ground.......marriage is important, even more so in this modern time that we live in.......Most importantly, he is good at heart and he always stood by her.....
It is really nice to read your interesting post.....just reaffirmed by belief that everyone has a redeeming factor in them....Krishna definitely has it and soon enough Pratigya will realise it and help him achieve his potential....

That is so sad to hear. My heart goes to her. As MallikaBalu said, each situation is different and ends differently and that's a truth for no two person are the same, not even twins.

wooww exactly my thots.....u just pointed out such important thngs abt him.....he is nt a goonda....he is a spoilt brat.....of a rich family......(although his dress ups are like that of a goon's bt thats coz allahabadi people wear these kind of dresses only) and he doesnt drink...u have pointed out such an imp point......whereas evn his older brother is shown to be a drunkyard......by nvr evr did they show krishna drinking.... evn wen he was much hurt and shattered.......
normally we see heroes becoming devdas by drinking and they give this excuse that they r heartbroken.....bt that does nt make it an easy thng to look over...... krishna, though heartbroken.....only is shown to mourn in silence...wich makes his sorrows look much real and much more pathetic....... and ya...one more thng...he had nvr committed any murder...... (though i wished he wud have killed angad)....😊
