Its very hard to write a FF. So if you can't appreciate the story. Then at least take it into consideration that she has taken time to write such a chapter up!

Sorry guys.... this chapters quite short and a bit boring..... please bear with me thanx

Chapter 4:

It was 11pm and Preety was still in a trance……. Walking home alone…….the scent of blood filled the air, attracting any unwelcoming visitors nearby…….

A rustling sound was heard behind the bushes…Preety began to feel uneasy as two menacing red eyes were watching her every move…

A hissing sound was heard, something snapped…….Preety looked around wondering where that sound was coming from………a screeching sound was heard…… as if someone was gnawing on the wood…….Preety began to shudder…….her heart began to fill with despair……. She began to hyperventilate……….

Where am I? What am I doing here? she thought…. I need to go home….then suddenly in a split second….. a woman with long dark silky hair, with red menacing eyes had appeared right in front of her………

She snarled……..and began to sniff Preety… Preety took a step back, fear gripped her….her heart jumped a beat…...she had goosebumps all over her arm….

Vampire lady: Mmmmmmmmm ….. tasty meal……….she licked her lips and opened her mouth wide………Preety could see her menacing fangs which had started to elongate…..

Preety: No…….. Let me go…... Preety took a step back and unsubconsciously touched the locket which Aleena had given her……

A beam of white light radiated from the locket… which began to pierce through the vampire's skin…the flesh began to burn……the vampire let out an ear piercing shriek…. Which was deafening to the ears…………….The vampire was going to attack again……. But someone telepathically had warned her to stay away or Damon will kill here…. The vampire looked around….. and saw a dark figure standing high above the rocks………

The vampire backed away………defeated…..but not lost the war…….she will be back…….The vampire backed away and in an instant vanished…

Preety couldn't make out the figure……It was too dark…….Then the voice spoke again……you have no recollection of this incident….. you will go home and tell everyone that you were pranked….the pranksters threw tomatoes at you…….now go…..Preety in a trance left and arrived outside her doorstep. She took out a key and unlocked the door. It was dark, so she switched the light on. Everyone had gone to sleep. Preety tiptoed up the stairs, her bedroom was further down the corridor on the left. She quietly opened her bedroom door, which started to creak. She ran inside and shut the door making sure it was locked. She had a sense of dread in her and couldn't work out why…..she felt that something terrible has happened. She went to freshen up….. she had a shower and went to sleep.

It was 3pm……Preety was sweating and stirring in bed…..no…….no…… Aleena……someone save her……..Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh Preety screamed. She quickly got up in bed. Her scream had woken everyone in the house. Her mom came rushing, she was knocking on the door frantically.

Preety's mom: Preety…… Preety….are you ok……… preety open the door….plz

Preety went and opened the door, and hugged her mom tightly.

Preetys mom: Preety, whats wrong?? Honey…. tell me what the problem is??….Look you're shaking!…….did you have a nightmare???

Preety began to sob…….mom….. I don't know but I feel in my heart that something terrible has happened and I can't work out what it is…. I had a terrible nightmare that something has happened to Aleena…..mom…..I'm worried……..

Preetys mom: Don't worry……. Its only a nightmare….

Preety dad had arrived after hearing the commotion…..Preety you're not a kid… go to sleep…. There's nothing to worry about.

Preetys mom: I will sleep in Preetys room tonight….. she looks to frightened…

Preetys dad: Ok I'm going…… have to go to work in the morning.

Preetys mom: Ok now, go back to bed….. don't worry I'm still here….nothings gonna happen……ok

They both went to bed.. Preety fell asleep very quickly. Preetys mom gave her a quick peck on the forehead and said goodnight sweety.

They both were asleep.

In the morning, Preety woke up late, her parents had left for work, after getting ready, she quickly went downstairs and saw that breakfast was already made for her…..Toast and omelette…..her favourite… On the side was a note….eat your breakfast hun….. don't stress today, if you want you can take a day off from college, take care of yourself……signed Mom

Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh mom is so sweet thought Preety, she's so caring, No I will not take a day off want to see my friends today she thought….. she was more eager to see her friend Aleena….. and to make sure that nothing has happened to her…….

She swithched the TV on and started to watch sky news… she started to laugh as soon as she saw the news report about a newsreporter who choked on a mosquito…..

Preety couldn't stop laughing when suddenly she stopped. The next news report was about Arushi…….

Newsreporter: A woman has been found dead in her home. She was found dead by her mother who is being consoled by her relatives. The police are waiting for the coroners report to establish the exact cause of death.

Preety froze in fear, and after a while she burst out in tears……
