I understand Sadie !!😃 that is the Krishna effect ...the moment you see his eyes ..you just drown in them and all is -ve qualities flies off in the air ....while Angad's Red-red lips putts you off him ..and forces you to loathe him ....😆

Krishna is loved only because of the actor who plays the role... girls find him good looking and love him for that ..and he's also a good actor... I am sure if this character was being played by some ordinary looking guy he wouldn't have been this popular. The guy can make an attempt to rape look exciting and hot to his fans .. he must have something lol

Obviously ur no fan of Krish and thats perfectly fine but there is no need to demean and take the piss out of his fans or of their intelligence!

Personally i love the Krish character cuz he isn't a cookie cutter character that you can fit into the mould of "hero" or "villain".

He has complexities and flaws but i find that he also has an inert goodness about him.

Yes Arhaan is very handsome and yes he is a fabulous actor and i can't picture anybody else playing Krish and most probably if it weren't for him the Krish character wouldn't be as popular as he is............ but neither would the show!

Krishna has got many layers/dimensions/sides to him which Angad doesn't have.Angad is a straight character and so far has been portrayed in a negative light.Krishna is supposed to be a grey character and on the whole isn't shown as "a villainish type of a person" (but has done certain despicable things which can bring him into the villain category).At times he's sweet but the very next minute he does something which would make one feel like kicking him hard.Angad has always been the plotting,scheaming and deffinitely the manipulative type(remember how he encouraged or convinced Krishna to do or believe in certain things while Krishna was stalking Pratigya before they got married).

From what I've understood about Krishna's character,he does certain things like beating up Angad for harassing Shyamji about Arushi,with let's say,some sort of a good intention since he feels a sense of protection towards Pratigya's family or it could even be because he feels that no one has the right to mess with HIS sasural because of who he is and his faltu pride,but then again I hope he did that for reason 1.

Angad so far has been shown to have a bad or a negative intention behind whatever he does.If he does something to someone,his intention is to harm that person in someway whereas I feel or rather hope that when Krishna does certain things he doesn't know what kind of an impression it will form or the effect it will have on that person.

This is just my POV as to why ppl might prefer Krishna over Angad😊

I think we can not compare Krishna with Angad. I feel that Krishna is fighting a fight within himself. I tend to believe that he does love Pratigya. Most of the bad things that he did to Partigya were the ideas that were knocked into his head by others in a manner that left very little choice for him to act otherwise. The good things that he did for her or her family, where he used his own head backfired. His upbringing and lack of education are other major factors pushing him backwards whenever he wanted to correct the wrongs in a wrong way. I think Pratigya now should step in and fill those gaps in his personality to actually help herself. Her life can never get better if she leaves him to grow into a more frustrated and more aggressive personality. She should help him to start transforming into her own ideal for him to understand her point of view..

I am very much interested on the psyche of Krishna and Angad ...if Krishna fill you with love ,adoration and in some cases despair and anger ..Angad universally fills you with hatred and loathing ...yet when you look at them ,there are many similarities between them...Both are Uneducated ,Both are egoistical , both are supremely confident in their abilities ,Both have a loyal and faithful sidekicks ,both are found in their Adda's ,one drinks tea and samosa and another eats chicken ...both are happy doing Nautanki's ..both are high on Mardangi ......Both do not have any job ..

Inspite of so many similarities .. ..Krishna is liked and Angad is despised ....what cud be the reason ..??

In my mind, there is a difference.

Angad is a thug (like Shakti) relies on use of force in a malicious, vengeful, vindictive manner. he is the type of person who gets sore when he loses. In him and Shakti I see literally zero potential for for redemption or transofrmation. Education would not make an iota of difference in these type fo people becasue their core personality is chauvinistic and sadistic in nature. they get pleasure at the pain or sufferin of others and in many instances act as instigators or abbetters in causing the misery.


Krishna in my mind is different. he is a pampered boy living in a very chauvinistic environment. he is strong enough to act forceful when required but this force is a tough guy thing, a survival instinct.

he has repeatedly shown a more gentle side. his aggressive behaviour towards his wife only appears in situations when he is frustrated. yet he always manages to control his base impulse for aggression and step away from the situation. he has a lot of potential for redemption. Education would have made a great deal of difference to this charachter's development. he has begun to reliaze that the tame world which he considers anamoly since birth may not be a weak society just an alternative one.

he does not cause misery but when surrounded by it he choses to ignore it or play indifferent. this si because he has seeing torture since birth and as a child probably learnt to develop an immunity to other people's suffering as a survival instinct and this has maintained as a base instinct in his adult life. While he may not stop his mother or kesar from getting beaten he has never smirked or demonstrated an ounce of support or pleasure at the knowledge of their torture.

I have seen him play tough guy but not seen him play thug. In my mind the gun scene and the tying wife to car seat was not in line with the character that has been shown since epi one. so maybe this was the CV's rare foray into ludicruousness to add an element of drama to an otherwise serious and emotionall charged show.

If Krishna had Kesar, Kesar's life would be very different and Krishna would be shown as being a respectable yet powerful thakur. This is not because Kesar accepts a beating or anything. this is because her true personality seems to be one of a caring, thoughtful sensitive, calm and tactful individual who acts as a partner (if allowed) rather than a dominatrix. His mistake was choosing a sherni not a jeevan saathi. So he is paying for it now.

Umm I am not interested in taking the piss out of anyone.. 😕 The topic was abt why ppl here like Krishna and I just gave my opinon.. I think that he's loved coz girls find him hot and love his acting... How is dat demeaning to u guys? 😕 Even I like his acting 😕 I think him and SS are the best actors in this show ... I am not a fan of anyone in this show I just don't like Krishna's character I have nothing against the actor or his fans. I am just against the way ppl support him in every crazy stuff dat he does. Maybe u got offended due the make rape look exciting bit but trust me its true.. I remember there were pages and pages of discussions during the rape track abt how hot Krishna looked when he was unbottoning his shirt and how hot it was. I said what I saw u can search for that topic and see for yourself... In fact it was a compliment to the actor who plays Krishna ...

As far as finding him hot is concerned I honestly feel he is average looking maybe that's why I am not smitten by him 😆 .. but he's definitely a good actor... It is strictly my opinion! I am sure u have a different reason for liking him ... I just said wat I felt ... I honestly feel if Krishna was being played by Angad or Tunna he wouldn't be half as popular... I don't see any difference between Krishna and Angad .. both are same with one tiny difference - Krishna is better looking... and looks play a big role in these shows ...
