Samira.def i have read tht poem in my Ap lit or comp class. So sad..

there was another one..i forgot the ladys name..maybe u rememner her..

her hubby was bothering her a lot..

so she onn-ed the oven to 350 degrees n placed her head in it and closed it. The day..leaving her kids behind. I cannot remember her name..she wrote a lot of poems on abuse..felt completely sorry for her..she had no where to go b/c she wasnt educated. But i mean she was b/c she wrote such wonderful poems..ohh shes soo good.

But I was thinkin the same but u expressed in words tht i cudnt. I was thinkin the same. Maybe every1 was luvin krishna much even after he abused her so they wanted to show sumthin like this..to get their point acrosss..n they did.we finally hate him. Or Atlest i do..hes not the krishna tht i liked. What was she thinkin marrying her stalker..i wudnt make tht mistake in the first place. But i agree w/ u..when ppl tell me its just a show.its not b/c pearl also wanted to help those abused women n n take a voice out to stop these atrocities..so maybe ppl supporting krishna is not helping those women b/c the show is specifically made to help those women gain courage. If we voice out we can help those women who r scared to bring out their voices somehow. I also dont agree w/ supporting krishna. Male are equal w/ female. I mean its the 21st century...not the 16th. I dont even supoort all this male dominance for the 16th century either but thts how it went down which is sad..anyways long essay heheheheh...

U see, I started to watch this serial bcoz I used to think that Krishna was a straight forward, shady character with a heart that truly loves Pratigya. And Pratigya will be the one to change his low thoughts about women!

BUT ever since his floppy lie, he has turned into a completely different character or maybe its his real character that I refused to acknowledge till that cowardly lie... Then, in last episode, him going back on his words and trying to make the lie into a truth, has shattered my belief in his true love for her or Krishna having ny trace of a decent human in him!

I dont think that the CVs r trying to degrade Krishna character but they r just portraying wat kind of person Krishna actually is; so, even though I'm desperate to see Krishna realize his mistakes, I dont want to blame the CVs for showing Krishna's real personality which needs to be changed!

Really, even I think that some comments in this forum are more scary and disgusting than the show itself! Actually, if I dont come across certain unbelievable comments, the show bcomes quite tolerable coz the way Krishna behaves - lets just say, I've got used to the shocks and disappointments and I can calm myself down thinking that Krishna IS supposed to be such a shady and -ve character!!!

BUT reading some comments where they blame Pratigya or Aarushi, I sometimes feel sad and sometimes angry and hopeless - to think that women are their own enemies, so how in the world, those who suffer r going to ever stand up and face the wrongs, if women themselves promote and support such disgusting acts in the name of love and fiction!!!

That poem was sooo sad and scary. By the end of it, I was having goosebumps as well and I dont think I can bear to read the article, after wat Shruthi and u said about it!!!

Thanx a lot for opening this thread and for ur provoking thoughts! 😊

I sure hope that it will knock some sense in those who r blindly supporting Krishna in the name of love or good-looks or illiteracy or uncivilized upbringing!!!

I completely agree with you.

Many people think its forgiveable if he didn't go through with it, but the emotional and the conceptual aspect of all types of abuse is ignored.

I always try to defend Pratz, but it seems futile nowadays.

I always said if she doesn't want to make an effort so be it...we can't be angry at her for that.

Its everyone's civil right to do as they please.

i can understand whatever happened wit pratigya was cent percent wrong but krishna is not totally to be blamed. he comes from a 'jahil' family who dont even know how to treat woman well. they dont know basic manners yaar (hath table par dhotay hain)
do u expect people like these to even RESPECT woman? or any human being for that matter . the clear answer is NO
try to understand the situation. Krishu is shown as a mad mad lover and not a total hero type, he has gray shades but not totally black and white, he is adorable but also he doesnt know the difference between right or wrong while pratigya is shown an educated girl
any girl can try to coerce her husband and explain him softly about her situation and try to convince. if he loves her so much, obviously he would listen to her. By screaming to a person, that you know would not listen to u quietly, makes things worse and that what happens.
Krishu is ofcourse ofcourse wrong but try to chill, its just a show, fiction. agreed they are showing non fiction material as well, but we dont have to be SOOO JAZBATI!

I agree to an extent that he comes from a jahil family; but you mentioned that if he loves her so much, he would listen to her. but the fact is, that he DOESN'T listen to her. Prats has been trying to tell him to stop this lie but he doesn't. So, does that mean he doesn't love her? well, the rape-attempt surely makes me think that his love for Prats is not pure at all.

This show is fiction but as Samira mentioned in her first post that all women being mistreated is a reality so that's why people are discussing it so much 😃 Since most people on this forum are women so after seeing women's mistreatment, it makes me jazbaati (as it does to others as well).
