The first promo of Pratigya made me feel that this show is based on female rights. But actually this show is based on spoilt brats.I am so upset that the main character of this show does not know how to respect woman and to some extent this show is supporting his crimes.
I always used to say Krishna was wrong but still he has some chance to purify himself. But after watching yesterdays episode i am just heart broken. He tried to rape his wife.Wow what a beautiful way to show your love. Some people are saying that he will not rape her.He just tried to show her that he is so "Mahan"that he is doing a "Ehsan" by not raping her.So tell me is rape a very normal thing to do and a person who does not rape is very "Mahan".Isn't attempt to rape and rape actually somewhat ame?
I am not bashing those people who loves Krishna without any condition.Maybe they would love to have a husband like him.But please don't give blame on Pratigya. She does not love Krishna and does not want to involve with him physically. It's her personal choice and Krishna has no right on force on her.Krishna was wrong,is wrong and God knows what he will do tomorrow.

Thank you Jonaki ! 😳😛

I also do not understand how members can perceive him as 'mahan' and claim that he is doing an 'ehsan' by not raping her! So what, she should classify herself as lucky to be raped by the 'oh so great mahan Krishna?' 🤢

Thank you for understanding 😊.

I know! 🤣 not only that! They were such stingy paper lovers.. 🤢 If you asked for paper, they made faces as if you asked for their life! 😆 And those security scanner things that you walk through. If it made a 'beeping' noise, the librarian would turn all 'ninja' and interrogate the poor person and accuse them of stealing a book! 😆

🤣🤣🤣they think they work for the CIA or something

Wow!! Thank you for this thread!!

The poem...I have read it before and it still gives me goosebumps. Regarding the show....I just don't know what to say anymore...it is disturbing at so many different levels. I want Krishna to change but so much has happened now and I can't understand how he will be forgiven. What he did in last night's episode is an all new low but even his past actions cannot be justified or forgiven so I have no idea how the CV's are going to redeem his character.

There is some kind of a contest in Star Plus where viewers have been encouraged to ask Krishna a question related to the show...the 10 best questions will be chosen and Krishna will answer them. In the contest they describe Krishna as 'the angry young man of TV with a heart of Gold who is trying to prove himself as a good husband!!" Are they joking? I would have believed the heart of Gold part till before their first nite and honeymoon. I think the CV's have totally lost their marbles!!

@red:trust me,when I read tht I was laughing my gutts out🤣I mean yeah sure,a guy who attempts rape is deffinitely a person with a heart of gold just because he's good looking and claims to "lub" his wife.😡

I have seriously had enough with the biased posts being created in this forum! Reading such threads that promote violence against women has horrified me beyond words! I am currently ashamed of being a woman!
Me too.
This show is portraying the violation and abuse of a woman's rights! And instead of voicing out your concern, individuals are supporting it! If your going to tell me to 'relax' and that it's just a 'show' then save your voice because I'm not interested! A show it may indeed be but how is it fictional?

Physically abusing a woman! is that fiction or fact?
Verbally abusing a woman! is that fiction or fact?
Dominating a woman! is that fiction or fact?
Mentally violating a woman with threats! is that fiction or fact?
Portraying women as sexual objects! is that fiction or fact?
Raping a woman because they are seen as inferior! fiction or fact!?
These are the most serious issues now-a-days and the show is making fun of them.
You tell me! All those mentioned above is not fiction, it's fact! So stop supporting such actions! The irony of it all is the people who are justifying Krishna's actions actually hate Shakti and Angad! Funny isn't it? If Angad kidnaps a woman then 'oh my god he is a monster!' But if Krishna mistreats a woman then 'oh my god my krishuuu is not bad, Pratigya and so what are to blame!'If Shakti hits his wife or rapes her, 'oh my god I hate Shakti etc' but if Krishna 'attempts' to force himself upon Pratigya then 'it's not his fault! '

It's not his fault. It's his upbringing that is responsible. So Shakti,Angad,Sajan Thakur Singh and Ammaji are also good.

A question i'd really like to ask. To what extent should Krishna go to before you guys admit that he is bad? Because all of the bad things his done, everyone still justifies it! How unfair is that! Krishna actually has to rape Pratigya or murder her, for someone to admit that his actions are wrong! The fact that the actual deed is not done, makes him good? The mitigating factors are not taken into consideration? This is similar to the cops! They won't do anything until the deed has been done. What a corrupted justice system!
Krishna will only be considered bad if he starts to respect Pratigya and set her free. The actions of him so far were not bad.He is such a nobel person who attempted to rape his wife and slapped her.

Us girls should sit there and wait for someone to actually completely hurt us in order for people to stand up and support us?

Why are we being biased and overlooking a characters flaws? I understand some may love him but c'mon when something is wrong, it's damn wrong!
We are overlooking his flaws because he is hot and sexy.A handsome hunk has every right to rape his wife and the wife should consider herself to be the luckiest girl.

Fight for women's rights and say no to domestic violence! Your input may help to motivate abused women to stand up on their own feet and fight against it!
I am trying my best to support victims of social and domestic violence.

Read this poem people! 😭 Do not justify acts like these.

Thank you dear! 😛

Yes i am also wondering how on earth the creatives will try to redeem his character?
'Who is trying to prove himself as a good husband?' Is Star Plus trying to crack a joke or something? Right now all he has done is strangle her, twist her arm, pull her hair, push her, and now attempt to force her. Whereabouts does that show him 'trying' to be a good husband? Yes i would have agreed with the heart of gold bit when he supported Pratigya and tried to help Arushi. But come on! Trying to prove himself as a good husband?
