Pratigya slapped Angad after he groped her on the train. He wanted revenge and asked Krishna to kidnap her. But Krishna sees Pratigya and changes his mind. He falls in love with her. Angad chases Pratigya when she is out with her sister in a rickshaw and Krishna comes to her rescue. Pratigya is not aware of this. Pratigya's parents select a young educated man for her. Krishna tries to stop the engagement but fails. Angad tells Nitin Krishna sent him and beats up Nitin. The engagement is cancelled. Angad kidnaps Pratigya and holds her overnight in isolation. She sees her name on the arm of the man who abducted her. Since she knows Krishna has tattooed her name on his forearm she believes Krishna is the kidnapper. Krishna is unaware of the kidnapping. it. Feeling humiliated and with no other choices in sight, Pratigya agrees to marry Krishna. Krishna believes Pratigya did it bec' she loves him but that her family is against it. He forces his family to accept her as the bahu. They get married but Pratigya tells him she is married to him in the eyes of society but she hates him and wants to teach him a few lessons. Krishna does not know why Pratigya is treating him this way when he fights against his family by her side every step of the way.
