Komal's behavior is very normal, I like how she stands up to the Saxenas and says it like it is. Esp. today her loyalty to Krishna was admirable while she picked on Adarsh and insulted Rolly all in one sentence. Only she can do it! - Yaar! I think u should resign as an advocate of Krishna and be an advocate for the Thakurs!!! 😆 Who knows u might even be the Next Guru Ma!😉 Back to Komal - I think she was more into being jealous of Roli than being loyal to/defending her brother Krishna who again and again compares her to Pratigya and asks her to improve her antics!!! 😆 But I agree!!! Watever she said to Adarsh was totally correct from her POV and even though Roli didnt deserve it, but Adarsh rightfully deserved her questions/complaints!!!😃
I'm sure she'd have accepted a bouquet if someone from the hotel gave her bcoz THAT someone is not nyone who made her and her family suffer or nyone who ruined her self-respect!!! Again, she doesnt think that the 'total stranger' is the one who kidnapped her or insulted her & broke off her engagement!!! I dont think we can compare Krishna or Pratigya to ny red-blooded man or woman!😆 BCOZ, first of all, I dont think ny red-blooded man would cut his wrists to make his family agree to a marriage and I think ny red-blooded woman would rather be on the run than marry someone like Krishna!!! If he were nything like a normal guy from a normal home, I am sure the whole situation would've been different, like - he wouldnt have forced Pratigya to marry him in the first place!!!

The way I see it , if she had known Angad kidnapped her and beat up Nitin would she then have married Angad instead of Krishna? After all Krishna threatened her but Angad committed some violent crimes against Nitin and her. She didn't listen to her family when they tried to reason with her. They could have found other ways to handle this, legal or otherwise. She made a desperate decision which led to Adarsh make another desperate decision. One has to take responsibility for the decisions they make. No one can "force" anyone to make a decision, she gave her power for reasons that mattered to her. Society talks and always will, I'd like to say more but the discussion will get out of hand. Let's just leave it at that, I'll remember it is a TV show.😊
U know, I find that underlined sentence completely unrelated!!! All the crimes that Angad did was NOT to marry Pratigya but to get revenge and if she had known it was Angad, WHY would she ever marry Angad if he wasnt the ONE to humiliate her & family TO marry her OR break off her engagement TO marry her or even promised to marry her oneway or another even after she refused TO marry him again and again??? Unless u completely switch both characters of Angad and Krishna, there is no comparison between these two... And WAT do u think makes Pratigya believe that Krishna IS the one to kidnap her and beat up Nitin??? Its all Krishna's actions!!! Krishna's 'tattoo' of her name humiliated her during her engagement and his threats to kill Nitin if she is marrying him willingly and a lot more of his actions are responsible for her blind-belief in Krishna as the kidnapper and the one who ruined the peace, respect and happiness of her and her family!!!
Its not like she didnt listen to her family, but her family couldnt find another way or find ny better solution than hers!!! And the way CVs showed, the Saxenas had already tried their best and everything they could think of but failed miserably NOT bcoz of Angad BUT bcoz of KRISHNA!!! Her decision WAS NOT desperate!!! It was forceful and she had had enough of her family suffering bcoz of her and a someone who fell in love with her!!! Pratigya was FORCED to make the decision to marry Krishna and she encouraged herself by thinking that she will teach Krishna a lesson!!! AND I do think that some decisions CAN be forced to make, esp. if its related to women/girls!!! and that is NOT RIGHT at all!!!
I agree that Adarsh's decision was desperate and he needs to take responsiblity bcoz Komal did nothing to be stuck in this marriage where as, Krishna did his best to MAKE Pratigya marry him - be it bcoz of his love for her or his illusions that she loves him!!!
Yes, the society talks and I dont think its Pratigya's fault to fear the society when she receives more discouragement to stand against society than support!!! Just like u, even Shyam thinks it was unnecessary to slap Angad and discourages and scares her that she would be in trouble... Imagine if the family supported the girl and told her that she did the right thing like the sardarji and Adarsh, she would have been much stronger and confident to face such jerks rather than being scared of wat they might do to her or her family next!!!
Look at Adarsh from a shanthi loving family! He was angry went to stab Krishna bec' he l believed Krishna was responsible for Pratigya's humiliation. He stole money for his parents and he is supposed to be sharif loge, educated. There are limits to what any person can tolerate. She has seen Krishna's temper before at her engagement. Did she not care how far she pushed him bec' her hatred and need for revenge consumed her so much. Before she goes around reforming her husband and in-laws she needs to take a good look at herself in the mirror for a while and I mean not to put her make up on either😉. A woman can destroy or make a home. Ek Parivar ko ek aurat kudh bigad sakthi hai ya achchi tarah se sambaal sakthi hai. Wake up and smell the coffee (since she doesn't drink at the Takurs) beta before things get worse. You took matters into your own hands when you got married, now nurture the relationship, value and make your life the best it can be.
I see, u r taking education to its deeeepest meaning when it comes to judge the Saxenas!!! Tell me something, does educated people lie or not? Does being educated means u cant make a wrong move in ur entire life?? Or does educated means u can never get angry but always try to understand those who wrong/hurt u??? I am saying that Saxenas brag about being sharif and educated directed at the Takurs and calling them janvars etc. Prof. was insensitive and made comments in Komal's presence. One would expect the name calling at the Takurs. It's their way to show superiority like SS talks about being Takur and thakat. Krishna was right about one thing.....why call him a goonda when Adarsh was doing the same thing bec' he was desperate. Education gives an added advantage .....to look at things in ways one never did and hone their powers of reasoning and judgment. But ultimately personality, upbringing and life's experience plays a role as well, not just education. I dont think Saxenas 'brag' about being educated! And they call the Thakurs junglee when they deserve it!!! Duh, even we call them jungleees, does that mean we r bragging to be Sharif and educated??? Me dont thinks so!!! I think u r talking abt. todays episode where all the Saxenas were being glad and expressing their happiness for Roli to be getting married to someone educated and according to her parents choice... Well, Komal is the one who is uneducated and thats not the Saxenas' fault and with Komal being their daughter-in-law, where do u expect them to express their feelings if not in their own house? If its insensitive to Komal then she should know better to change!!! Like I said in another comment, with Komal - every discussion related to being civilized and educated is going to be sensitive and other than dadi who comments to point out her faults, Shyam and Naina tries their best to not irritate Komal!!! You r right about Adarsh being desperate and almost stabbing Krishna - yes, thats a mistake which was made when he was desperate - DOES NOT turn him into anything like a goon aka Krishna who was going to kidnap Pratigya for Angad, who threatened to kill Nitin, who pointed a gun at Professor Shyam or who shot at Angad or who talked to his amma about marrying Pratigya even if he had to kidnap her and etc.....
I dont really think the Saxena Family's behavior has got nything to do with education - its more to do with emotions! The Thakurs on the other hand has got a lot to do with education - starting from their lowly thoughts of women and education to their mistreatments of women or waiting for the munshi to read a letter which might be important!😆
Well, just bcoz she fears his short-tempers, she tries her best to get along with it!!! She didnt shake hands with some other guy fearing his reaction, then fearing his reaction she smiled during the photoshoot just to save the photographer and fearing his reaction she even lets him touch her in public when she feels disgusted by his touch!!! So, do u expect her to live her future being afraid of his short-temper??? I dont think so! Bcoz, she IS a strong and brave woman! She cant let him have his 'right as husband' on her just becoz she knows about his nasty temper!!! When she got married, she only saw a sample of the junglee team, one who loved her and was at his best behavior bcoz of that!!! Both Pratigya and Krishna have to change not just him. Prats has a few flaws, she is no saint. She has a hot temper and but for her slapping Angad her life wouldn't have taken this downward spiral and we wouldn't have a show to watch 😉😆She has a lot to learn about relationships and life in general.😊 Sure she is doing the best she can, after all she signed on for it. The ultimate responsibility for marrying Krishna is hers and hers alone however she chooses to reason and explain her decisions.
Krishna has to change a LOT more than Pratigya... Of course, Pratigya must have her flaws as well, I never said she is a saint - I said so far, I havent seen her do ny wrong and I REALLY think her slapping Angad was nything BUT wrong!!! I find that action of hers v.brave and I really dont understand how can u call her hot-temper!!! Do u remember wat Angad and his friends were saying to her and her friends??? Totally DISGUSTING stuff!!! And she tolerated all those!!! AND u call her hot-temper??? She knows enough about relationships as well and respects the elders a lot!!! I know u meant about her responsibilities as a wife and I think her 'ultimate responsibility' in marrying Krishna is to teach him a lesson for forcing and humiliating her in the name of love and I'm quite satisfied in the way she is fullfilling that responsibility so perfectly!!!😃😃😃
I dont think Krishna yet deserves the responsibility a wife has towards his husband and Krishna has to acknowledge his wrongs to earn that responsibility!!! All Pratigya has to do is to have a HUGE heart and forgive all the wrongs he did!!!
