It was a very nice chp.I wonder how Pratigya is gonna handle the situation because everyone in Krishna's house apart from him know tht Arushi is their hone waali bahu.

Chapter-13

Saxena family were having their lunch. Everyone was quiet. No one was speaking anything, nor Pratigya. Suddenly the phone rang. Shyam ji went and picked up the phone. It was from Krishna's father. He told the date of marriage. It was 30^th of April. Shyam ji was shocked to hear the date. He told that its just 5 days later . How will we ...... Raj cutting him in between said that their pandit ji said to have it at 30^th or wait for 8 months. Shyam ji agreed finally coz they had to wait for 8 months if they disagree and they believed on this very strongly. Krishna's father insisted to have the "Mehendi" today itself. Shyam ji had no other way and so agreed. Everyone on the table was hearing their conversation. They were confused. Shyam ji came and told them about the marriage date. Naina ji was happy. No tension for her. Arushi was happy too. Naina ji wanted to marry Arushi as soon as possible b4 anyone comes to know Arushi's mental condition. But Pratigya was really tensed. She pretended in front of them that she was happy but No. She wasn't happy

The diary:

21^st march, 1991.

9:00 AM, Monday.

Arushi ne apni friend ki birthday party main jana tha. Wo tayaar ho rahi thi. Wo bht khush thi kyoun ke wo peli baar apni kisi dost ke ghar jaa rahi thi. Us ke papa ne usse chor ne jana tha. Usne raat ke 8 baje jana tha. Wo 13^th January 1991 ka din tha. Us ne pink colour ki frock pehen rakhi thi. Raat ke 8;30 ho rahe the. Wo kaafi late ho gai thi. Us ke papa ki tabiat achanak bht kharab ho gai. Un ka Blood pressure bht high hogaya tha achanak. Arushi ne rona shuru kar dia kyoun ke use apni friend ke ghar pe jana tha. Main ne use mana kardia shyam ji ki tabiyat dekh ke. Maine use kaha ke tum apni friend ke ghar mat jao dekh nae rahi apni papa ki haalat!. Wo rone lagi. Rote rote wo apne kamre main chali gai. Main bht pareshaan thi. Main ne us ke papa ko dawai di aur unhen sula dia. Phir main Arushi ko kamre main dekhne gai, lekin wo apne kamre main nahi thi. Main ne khirki khuli hui dekhi aur udhar se aik duppata latka hua. Wo ghar se bhag gait hi apni friend ke ghar jaane. Wo tab sirf 9 saal kit hi. Main bht pareshaan ho gai. Main ne us ka peecha kia! Wo bhag rahi thi. Use apni friend ke ghar ka rasta bhi nae pata tha. Wo bhagte bhagte road ke end tak pohanch gai aur wahan se gir gai. Mere pairon tale zameen khisak gai. Main neech ki taraf bhagi aur Arushi ko leke hospital chali gai. Us ke sur se bht khoon bah raha tha. Doctors ne us ke maram patti kar di aur kaha ke wo bikul theek hai. Lekin phir wo thore din baad ulti seedhi harkaten karne lagi. Baar baar behosh ho jati. Kabhi chat se kuudne lagti. Humen kuch theek nae laga, humne duusre doctorko phir se dikhaya aur us doctore ne kaha ke Arushi ka dimagh ka aik hissa paralyze ho gaya hai. Humen bht pareshaani ho gai. Mujhe to ab bus yehi fikar hai ke Arushi ki shaadi kisi se ho jae. Kyoun ke aise larki ka rishta kon lega?

Ab humare paas aik hi rasta hai. Ye sachai sab se chupa ke rakhni hogi ke Arushi PAGAL HAI.

Now after going thru it again, Pratigya's decision was even more sure for not letting Arushi maary Krishna. And on the other hand Arushi's mehendi rasam was just that night. Suddenly she rose up from the bed And said to herself: mujhe pata hai ke mujhe kya karma hai. Main Arushi ki shaadi Krishna se isi tareeke se rokun gi. Haan bus ab yehi aik raasta hai aur main isi tareeke se Arushi aur Krishna ki shaadi rokun gi.
