without a wrd..pratigya went into the bathroom and turned on the shower... as the water travelled down her body...her head started to clear up and the dark clouds shading her logical thots moved away....
she thot abt her frst meeting with krishna...her frndship with him.....then how he gave her those suggesstions.... suddenly it striked her------shaadi ka natak karne ka suggesstion to krishna ne hi diya tha mujhe..... haan...ye sab to uska hi plan tha..lekin main bhi to ek hi baar mein razi ho gayi thi...o my gad...main kitni bewaquf thi....itni badi bawaquf....!!! bhala ye bhi koi solution tha kya?
lekin use meri boyfrnd banke papa se milne ka proposal to maine hi di thi..... to fir usne kya galat kiya mujhe ye natak karne ka proposal dekar? ho sakta hain ke usne socha hoga ki sabkuch thk ho jayega lekin...fir baad mein..... bhaiya...ye aapne mere dimag mein kya ghusa diya.....aab main itni cnfused ho rahi hun...sabkuch galat lag raha hain...main galat thi,krishna galat tha...to fir sahi kon tha...aur hum galat kaise ho gaye? ooofff... she slapped her hand hard on her forehead.....
suddenly she heard krishna's voice frm outside------pratigya kya tum so gayi ho kya? andar?
pratigya turned the shower off----nhi...aabhi aati hun.....
she came out of the bathroom in a white salwar wich she had taken with her inside....it was alredy vry wet because of her wet body and hair... she twisted her face in disgust as she had no remaining clothes for now...all were in the washerman's bucket.....
krishna called out to her once more----are kitni der lagati ho...khana thanda ho jayega...
pratigya -----ati hun..ek min....
she walked into the drawing cum bedroom.. krishna had already prepared the table..... seeing the dinner her anger,disgust and irritation immediately washed away-----SPHAGETTI!!! she shouted out in delight....
krishna turned around------tumhe accha lagta hain?
pratigya-----bht...lekin tumhe kaise pata chala?
krishna looked puzzled------hume kahin se pata nhi chala...hume ye accha lagta hain...
out of sheer delight,pratigya ran over to him and pressed his cheeks hard... krishna was totally taken aback..sometimes she became so childish that she cudnt keep cntrol of herself at all-----tum kitne sweeeeeeeeeeetttttt ho krishna.......I LOVE U.......
she turned towards the dinner,taking its smell,filling her lungs with it....and hovering over it while krishna stood still,her last wrds still ringing in his ears------I LOVE U.....

pratigya was going on blabbering.. krishna asked-----kya kaha tumne?
pratigya looked at him....his expression seemed unfamiliar to her....
pratigya-----mai keh rahi thi ki ekbaar main,aarushi aur bhaiya ek plate ke liye restaurant mein maramari kar rahe the aur waiter ne......
krishna interrupted in between----nhi...usse pehle...
pratigya became cnfused----usse pehle kya?
krishna----usse pehle pratigya...kuch kaha tha tumne.....
pratigya tried to recall-----o woh? she smiled...
krishna smiled too----ha wohi...kya kaha tumne?
pratigya------usmein kya hain.....main keh rahi thi ki mujhe ye ghar pe banana accha nhi lagta isiliye....
krishna shrugged his shoulders and said-------chodo...jane do....... he sat down------chalo suru karo....
she happily took the plate and suddenly realised somethng------krishna...tumhara plate kahan hain?
krishna-----umm...aa....humne pehle hi kha liya hain...sorry.... he looked away------actually hume bht bhuk lagi thi...isiliye humne socha ki...
all of a sudden pratigya put her finger on his lips.. he turned at her....
pratigya----tum mujhse jhut bol rahe ho? tumne nhi khaya hain na? koi baat nhi... she took the plate and took some sphagetti with the fork... then she held out bher hand to him-----ye lo....
krishna-----nhi pratigya....
pratigya----kyun nhi...ye tumhara bhi favourite hain na? to fir? kha lo....?
krishna still did nt bulge....
pratigya----o tumhe mere haath se khane mein problm hain...kyun?
krishna smiled------kabhi nhi...
pratigya smiled back-----to? ye lo....
he took it frm her hands.... and they started sharing the food...giggling and laughing at each other..evn playing pranks........

late at night,as krishna was preparing pratigya's bed..he saw her carrying his pillows and bedsheet frm the kitchen and she kept them on her bed......
krishna----ye sab kya hain pratigya...aab to hum bilkul thk hain...to fir aab hum kitchen mein kyun nhi so sakte?
pratigya----kyunki agr tum firse kitchen mein soye to tumhari tabiyat firse kharab ho jayegi....samjhe?
krishna smiled----kuch nhi hoga hume...aur kuch hoga bhi to koi baat nhi hain...lekin tum kitchen mein nhi sogi....
pratigya looked surprised----tumne kisne kaha ki main kitchen mein soungi?
krishna became more surprised now------to fir...hum...kya hum....par..pratigya... he faltered.....
pratigya came over to him and lovingly took his hand in hers and said-----krishna...i trust u...tumhe fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nhi hai..main bilkul thk hun...aur main ye kabhi nhi chahti ki meri wajase tum....tumhari tabiyat kharab ho jaye..... aur jahatak baat hain ek hi bed par sone ki...to agr mujhe prblm nhi hain..to fir tumhe prblm kyun hogi....?
she smiled and was abt to go wen krishna caught her hand suddenly... pratigya turned at him-----kya hua?
krishna looked at her in a strange way and asked the most strangest question------tumhe prblm kyun nhi hain pratigya?
as pratigya looked into his eyes...she realised that she actually had no answer............

krishna switched off the lights as he huddled in one corner of the bed...clutching his bed sheet... pratigya was huddled in another corner....her back turned to him..... she was thnking-----wat did krishna mean to say? and y did I behave so stupidly? i trust him and thats all...so i dnt hve a prblm sharing the bed with him....did i do any wrong...? her puzzled mind did nt give her any answer.... to her questions... she slowly turned over and looked at him... he seemed to be asleep... she turned back and tried to sleep... suddenly she heard krishna say------pratigya...
pratigya----hmm?
krishna----hume ek bht buri aadat hain...
pratigya----kya? she asked without turning at him....
krishna paused for sometime and then said----jab bachpan mein hum sote the na....tab hamesha hamare side mein ek side pillow hota tha...ek bara sa aur mota sa.....
pratigya----to?sabka hota hain....
krishna----nhi...baat wo nhi hain...hum use kaske pakadke sote the.... uske bina hume neend nhi aati thi..... isiliye...
pratigya----isiliye kya?
krishna----aaj bhi kabhi kabhi neend mein......
pratigya felt as if her heart had stopped beating for a few seconds.....
krishna cntinued-----hamara matlab..agr hum neend mein tumhe side pillow samajhkar....
pratigya sat up on the bed immediately and switched on the lights----ye kya keh rahe ho tum?
krishna got up too...rubbing his eyes----are yar....lights kyun on kar di.....?
pratigya clytched her pillow tightly agenst her and she sat on the bed,eyeing krishna suspiciously...
he yawned-----are yaar...hum tumhe sirf darane ki koshish kar rahe the aur kuch nhi......
pratigya-----n...nhi.....hum lights off nhi karenge...
krishna cudnt help smiling,looking at her face...
pratigya cudnt tolerate this anymore...she threw her pillow towards him-----tum has rahe ho?
krishna's smile turned mischievious...he took the pillow and said----aab kaise apne aapko humse raksha karogi tum? tumhara dhal to ahamre paas hain....
he moved towards her....pratigya moved away-----krishna...main bata rahi hu...main tumhara bht bura hal karungi...
krishna stopped----accha? kya karogi?
pratigya tried to thnk of somethng...bt cudnt..she scratched her head and said------abhi mujhe bht neend aa rahi hain...abhi kuch yaad nhi aa raha hain....aaj ka match yehi khatam hota hain....
with taht she snatched away the pillow frm his hands...palced it behind her head and turned her back at him as she laid down on the bed....
krishna----are yar...lights to off karo....
pratigya-----nhi...lights on rahega...
krishna----pratigya..plzz lights on rehne se hume neend nhi aata....
pratigya held out her hands and switched off the lights----aab khush...aab plzzz mujhe sone do... gud nyt...
krishna laid down too..smiling to himself as how he had frightened her... ultimately he started to feel sleepy and dozed away........
vry late at night,he felt someone's breath near his shoulders.. at frst,he was too sleepy to turn... then after sometime,he turned to see that pratigya had crept up too close to him....and was fast asleep....
he thot-----ye lo...aab isko bhi side pillow chahiye.......
he smiled and observed her vry carefully... at frst he felt like....hugging her tightly and giving her the comfort she was searching for...bt then he thot----nhi...woh jab jagegi to hume galat samjhegi....
with that he tried to move away frm her.... bt realised that he had reached the edge of the bed..and if he moved evn one inch...he might fall down....
he sighed-----aab kya kare.... he tried to shake her lightly...she snuggled closer to him in her sleep and put her arm across his chest....
krishna became more worried...he knew that he HAD to wake her up now..... he called her softly-----pratigya...ee pratigya....
pratigya lifted her eyebrows bt she didnt wake up..
krishna-----pratigya..........plzz...ekbar utho...... he shook her harder this time...
slowly her eyelids moved and she opened her drowsy eyes------kya hain..?
wen she noticed krishna's face so close to her....her drowsiness vanished away at once... she sat up on the bed and moved away frm him------krishna...t...tum....
krishna sat up too...irritated----kya krishna..tum...? idhar dekho kaun kisko side pillow bana raha tha....
pratigya looked at the bed carefully and became terribly embarressed....her cheeks became so red that they looked like apples.. she noticed that it was SHE whu had crossed the border-line and had reached to his side.......
she held down her head------krishna..i...i'm...really sorry...pata nhi kaise.....tum chinta mat karo...main kitchen mein jakar soti hun....
she was abt to get down frm the bed wen krishna said-------ruko...ek min.....plzz tum itni raat ko idhar udhar mat karo.....tum abhi yehipar so jao...age se aisa na ho..ye hum dhyan rakhenge....thk hain? chalo so jao...
pratigya------par krishna....firse...
krishna assured her-----kuch nhi hoga....its okay...tum so jao.... dekho bht raat ho chuki hain.....
pratigya lied down without another wrd.... bt krishna did nt...... he kept his pillow beneath his hsoulders and decided to stay awake the rest of the night because he cud feel his racing heartbeat indicating to him that tonight sleep will be miles away frm him.......

pratigya pointed towards the wall clock... krishna was shocked to see the time... it was 10.30....
krishna----are sare dus baj chuka hain lekin bahar itna andhera kyun hain.... ?
then he realised-----o my god....ye to bht zor se baarish honewali hain... he looked at pratigya and stopped...her face was full of smiles... he had nvr seen her so happy before... her whole face depicted a childish innocence and gladness as if it glittered like the sunlight...... he was amazed....
pratigya exclaimed------krishna...mujhe..baarish bht pasand hain.......
suddenly she changed her tone------tum jald se jald tayar ho jao...hum bahar jayenge...
krishna-----bahar jayenge? is baarish mein kaha marne jayenge?
pratigya----are yaar aisi baarish mein zor se bike chalane ka mazayi kuch aur hota hain...tum jaldi tayar ho jao....hum bhi tayar hokar ate hain......
she was abt to run towards the bathroom wen krishna caught her hand and stopped her...
krishna------pratigya kya tum pagal ho? tum janti nhi ki baarish mein bike kitna skid karta hain......kuch bhi ho sakta hain accident ho sakta hain...aur tum....
pratigya,out of excitement...cupped his face in her hands and looked into his eyes,although krishna cud feel that she was day dreaming-----tum nhi samajh rahe ho...maine ye pehle bhi kiya hain..jab main hostel mein rehti thi tab ekbar hum sabne baarish mein hamare class ke ladko ke bike ke peeche baithkar aisi hi sadko pe ghume the...mujhe aaj bhi wo din yaad hain...itnaaa maza aya tha ki kya batau tumhe...tum dekhna ye sab marnewali baat tumhare dimag mein hi nhi ayega....jab thandi hawa tumhare saanson ko chuyegi tab tumhe lagega ki bas udhta hi jau udhta hi jau..........
there was somethng in her wrds that made krishna's blood turn warm..... he started missing his childhood too... he thot----ekbar try karke dekhne mein kya harj hain....

pratigya shouted on the top of her lungs... she was enjoying it immensely.. they had taken the road beside the lake where it was quite empty and the sides were covered with trees.....
pratigya had no helmet on her head,she hated wearing helmets in this kind of weather... and she did nt evn let krishna wear one..... she clutched onto krishna's jacket tightly and got wet in the rain.....
krishna was enjoying it too.. he had nvr been so mad before... bt one thng he realised for sure...it takes real guts to ba mad... he knew himself that he was taking a lot of risk in this..bt still he wasn't afraid... pratigya kept shouting...the torrents increased and the road became so wet that krishna thot it wud be better if they stopped somewhere.. he shouted to her----- PRATIGYA?
pratigya----KYA HUA?
krishna---HUME LAGTA HAIN KE HUME THODI DER KE LIYE RUKNA CHAHIYE...
pratigya-----KYA KARNA CHAHIYE?
krishna----RUKNA CHAHIYE...BAARISH TEZ HO RAHA HAIN...
pratigya felt that he was ryt... evn the road cudnt be clearly seen... she shouted to make her voice louder than the winds----THK HAIN.... ROK DO....
krishna halted his bike...near a shade and got down frm it.. pratigya had alredy ran towards the shade and was standing under it,clasping herself tightly.. she was totally soaked and was feeling cold....
krishna ran into the shade after parking his bike and stood next to her....
pratigya-----brrr..... it s so cold....
krishna mocked----kisne kaha tha barish mein bhigne ke liye hm?
pratigya shot him an angry glance...----mujhe nhi lagta ki maine kuch galat kiya hain..kyun? kya tumhe maza nhi aaya....?
in reply krishna sneezed-----AACHOOOOOO
pratigya giggled.....
krishna----ee lo...aab aa raha hain maza....
pratigya was abt to comment something wen suddenly the sky trembled with the roars of thunder.....
she instantly clinged onto krishna's arm and moved closer to his side,her face becoming anxious.....
krishna-----kya hua? aab maza nhi aa raha hain?
she moved much closer to him... krishna felt somewat pity on her.. he put his arm around her shoulder and held her warmly------kuch nhi hain....sirf badlo ka garjan hain...
he felt that she was totally soaked and her body was trembling a little..... he became worried------pratigya ye kya kar diya tumne...dekho..aab tumhe bukhar aa jayega.....
pratigya------nhi...main hamesha barish mein bhigti hun...kabhi mujhe bukhar nhi aata.....
krishna---oho....superwoman ho ka?
pratigya smiled----aha......catwoman....
both of them laughed out at the pathetic joke... as they were really vry happy.... krishna was also feeling so mad and so happy after breaking the rules and after enjoying the rains with all his heart.... they started chatting and fighting with each other as they waited for the rains to stop.......

it had been few minutes after they had returned frm their RAINWALK.... and pratigya was drying her hair with a towel wen her phone rang.. krishna was in the bathroom and therefore he did nt hear it.. pratigya picked it up------helloo?
it was adarsh-------pratigya....
pratigya------adarsh bhaiya? bataiye..... ek min pehle meri baat suniye... she giggled like a child------happy rainy day....
adarsh smiled too------of ho pratigya tum aaj bhi....ya..happy rainy day to u too....
then his tone changed------suno pratigya ek zaroori baat kehne ke liye humne tumhe fon kiya... humne tumhare rehne ka intezaam kar diya hain.......
pratigya----kya?
adarsh-----haan pratigya...woh tum kuch dino ke liye rohli ke ghar mein rahogi... un kuch dino mein hum papa ko mana lenge fir tum ghar laut sakti ho.....
pratigya------par..bhaiya..
adarsh-----par war kuch nhi...tum kal hi apna saman wagera lekar udhar pahuch jana...hum tumhe wahi milenge....
pratigya----bhaiya krishna....
adarsh----krishna tumhara pati nhi hain pratigya....wo tumhe rok nhi sakta..... abhi hum rakhte hain..papa aa rahe hain..agr unhone hume tumse baat karte hue sun li to sab garbar ho jayega..thk hain apna khayal rakhna bye....

pratigya sat down on the bed.... and dropped the towel on the floor.... her smile faded away.... somehow she felt strange at the thot of leaving krishna.... she had become so accustomed here in these few days.. maybe krishna was noone...he was nt in any kind of relationship with her... bt she liked him..... she liked him a lot and it pained her....the thot of leaving krishna.....
krishna came out of the bathroom....now fresh and saw her sitting on the bed in that way....
he guessed something wrong...
krishna----pratigya? kya hua? kya sochne lag gayi? aur ye towel...ye niche kyun pada hain?
he stooped down to pick it up wen suddenly pratigya said-------mujhe jana hoga krishna........
krishna cud nt pick up the towel.......he looked at her------huh!!!!!!??????
