Mallika and Adnan was such a mismatch...their chemistry was so thanda that it never was able to grab eyeballs.Most of the ITV shows sucks but if jodi is good then it helps a show to sail somehow. @bold... thats the thing where makers nailed the coffin.. discussing it from the very first day with my freinds that Adnan and Mallika doesn't work as couple. They rather look like bro sis or particularly say, Mallika looks like Adnan's daughter! The couple should have worked firstly... then even the bad story could have been compromised. harder they wanted to establish them as couple with the cliche scenes which turned out to be cringefest.. the show shrunked more and more.

If actors are good and story demands age gap than it works, otherwise not. Neither there was much age gap between Karushok not Adnan and Mallika were good actors. The story in itself was boring except Prachi. No historical accuracy, atleast they could have kept basic history as it is. So yeah the show was made to get flopped for the hidden reasons only ekta knows.
