About the casting of Mallika and Chetan as Kaurwaki and Ashok, would it have worked though? Well, Iqbal Khan made a show like this just last year about age gap, "Naa Umra Ki Seema Ho", but I don't know how it went.

Unfortunately, the audience is already going through a grim life as it is in this Kalyug, they just want to see something happy and uplifting, thus they would protest if an accurate portrayal of Ashok were to be shown.

A fact mostly people don't know Seleucus claimed himself to be son of Apollo (One of sun gods in Greek pantheon). So technically Seleucids were worshippers of Surya Devta and Helena too was more inclined to worship Sun God. Samudragupta calls one of his defeated rulers as Devputra Shahnushahi, some scholars who try to prove Sandrocottus was Samudragupta uses this as one of their evidences. It's true chronology in Indian history is compromise with to make Indian civilization look closer to Greek and Egyptian Civilization when it's much older. Still Sandrocottus being Samudragupta looks very unlikely and more evidences are needed.

Showing Helena in negative light is the dumbest thing ITV has ever done. 😂🤣 She wasn't in position to do any Villainy. She had no power at all, the people were unknown to her and she was very young to make any contacts . 😕😮

They already had multiple interviews of the leads at the beginning itself lol🤣🤣

Nicely played by the PH team it seems. When Dharma gave the interview, Adnan was in the background having his makeup done and seemed completely unbothered by the interview taking place by I think "TellyChakkar".

He's not. But what we are unable to accept is his downfall in acting rather than his costume and get up. Had he acted half as good as in Katha or some useless comedic scenes were to have been removed, we'd have accepted him. Else, a tone or 2 of tanning or darker shade of makeup, that doesn't make him "ugly" but he seems more attractive. The acting brings it all down, like a crumbling tower for me 🤕. I can't even watch the trailers he's in!!!!

Also, thanks for providing the piece of historical information. That's literally some "lovesickness" right there.

See the difference between Seleucus and Chandragupta, Seleucus definitely looks more grim faced than Chandragupta, mostly Yavanas who came were warriors so maybe that's why they called them Grim Faced 😕 Also look at Seleucus' hair, why do anyone think this guy's daughter was blonde? 🤣😂 His wife was Persian so she wouldn't be blonde either. 🤣

Not really grim face but looks more serious. But if those ancestors of ours saw them as being "grim faced", guess it suits their description.

I was saying the same thing about the hair!!! They all have dark hair, even the Turkish! Maybe a tint of brown when they go in the sun, but, that hair is all black! Only prostitutes had blond hair to differentiate themselves from local Greek noble women. And oftentimes, the blond women were brought from northern region like Ukraine, Germanic regions and so on.

Talking about cotton candy hair back in the show, is she the same 1 who played Ganga in Siddhart Tiwari's Mahabharat? I just finally remembered where I saw her before.

At the start of the show, leads interviews are taken to promote the show. Post that, we dint get any segments with them for Valentine’s day or general about next track etc which we get for most of the other shows.

Well, they're still "getting to know each other" lol. Plus, Prachi and Adnan should have had this Valentine's segment, if it ever were to be made.🤣

Edit: Also the most obvious; the show is tanking🫠 and so is Adnan and Mallika. Maybe they're already in the talks of changing the leads.🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes I knew she was Ganga from Star Mahabharat. Seleucus' daughter had dark black hair due to her parents. She looked more like a latina due to mixture of genes than a blonde Scandinavian woman. Rakshanda is still a much better casting than those who played Helena before. Mallika as young Helena would be suitable. 😂 Also if paired up with Chetan, it makes best Chandragupta-Helena jodi as it would be historically accurate but audiences are so primitive they won't be able to digest the reality and situations of ancient times. That's why ITV and Bollywood were never able to produce good historicals because audiences are so sensitive and start questioning morality without thinking if this was considered amoral they wouldn't have done it. 😒

, if actors are told about this they would be absolutely shocked 😲😂🤣 Mallika would have definitely questioned this 🤣😂

I am still trying to wrap my head around this 1. I never went to an Indian school, and our history was mostly about how the Dutch found our island and how the French and Brits ruled Mauritius and the different settlements who came, including our ancestors from Africa, India and China.

Who are the @bold names here? And yeah, Indian civilization is way older than Egyptian and Greek civilization. I mean, Ramayan and Mahabharat are such proofs.
