Part 9

Love is the extremely difficult realization that something other than oneself is real. Maan was a man who can't hide things from himself at least. He was aware of changes in his life after her coming. He very well knows what those things mean, what that feelings mean... It was like he was craving for that feeling only, for someone who he can cherish his entire life. He wanted someone who is with him because what he is... Even with his parents, he respected them but the warmness he always wanted never got with them. They love him but can't see his need, his craving... But now loving her he always felt peace. He feels he is complete with this feeling... He never expects anything from her... No doubt if she reciprocates his feeling he will be happiest man in the world but if doesn't then also he will be happy. He always believes Love is giving everything without thinking twice. If she will not feel the way he does then that will not be her fault and moreover Love is not at all about giving and taking in return. He wants to cherish this feeling for her till the eternity...

Geet was disturbed since their return from Shimla and Maan could feel that. She working constantly... her weapon to hide her feelings her ANGER is always there. By now he knew she is mysterious...She is an enigma... A puzzle he can't solve. There are so many things in her heart he don't know. She can't able to express her real feelings. One moment she becomes ignorant towards every emotional thing one moment save the child's life without caring about herself. One side she don't let him speak about anything one side just walked out even after his blabbering about being her heartless. And the last he couldn't forget that incident she risked her life to save him. These two personalities of her confuse him. One shows care, warmness...and other anger, ignorance. In mid of all this he can't forget the hurt, pain in her eyes in both personalities of hers.

Maan reached home from office after taking shower Maan was drying his hair that's when his phone buzzed. Without looking at caller ID maan picked it...Hey Maan I missed you so much...did you miss me, baby? Btw there is good news for you...I am coming back in two weeks... I will be coming to Mumbai then to meet you...Maan...Hello??? Not getting any response from other side sameera cuts the call thinking line got cut. Here Maan was completely numb with the realization.

Next day, everyone was in conference hall... We got two new projects, so we are dividing you all in two teams which will lead by me and Mr Shekhar. List will be provide about who is gone be in whose team. After meeting everyone was waiting for list which will be coming after lunch break. They moved towards canteen, Hey guys, in whose team you all wants to go... Geet ma'am or Shekhar sir? One of colleague asked all other...Most of the girls answered Shekhar sir because he was the senior after Geet and sweet too and boys as well due to fear of Geet... Sasha and Adi answered Geet as they knew she is too much strict but she is the most intelligent lady in all of them. And you maan? Maan startled looked up What? He asked as he doesn't even know what they are talking about...arre tell us na in whose team you want to go...one of collegue asked Ohh come on guys he obviously wants to be in Geet ma'am's team... Maan got scared if they got to know about his love towards her... If she comes to know she will hang him till death... aur nahi toh kya, Maan loves trouble haina maan? issi liye toh Geet Ma'am se panga leta hai... other colleague said winking at him... They all teased him. After lunch list was out... Maan, Sasha, Adi were in Geet's team.

Adi call every team member in conference hall 1... we are having meeting in half an hour... yes ma'am... After half an hour she left towards conference hall. She was about enter in she saw Maan moving towards other conference hall where Mr shekhar's team meeting was held up Mr Khurana... The meeting is held up in conference hall 1 in case you don't know... or you didn't even bother to check the list Mr Khurana? She said teasingly... Maan was all the while looking down didn't give any answer... Ma'am he changed his team...It was adi who spoke to give her answer. Geet just stared at maan for a minute and then said Ohh... as expected you had problem with this decision of mine too... She said coldly let's go Adi... and left from there...Maan too left towards other conference room...Adi stood there confused with their behaviour. Here Maan couldn't concentrate in meeting at all...The cold look she gave him before leaving him he can't forget that.

After getting sameera's call Maan was completely numb with the realization. He couldn't utter a word to her. Guilt covered his heart squeezing it with the realization what he had done. In all those feelings... he completely forgot about the one person to whom he was committed. In his happiness... he forgot about those promises he made to sameera.It's not sameera's fault that I love some else...I have no right to hurt her like this. What's her mistake if I don't like her... I decided to commit, now I have fulfil it. His heart retort back what about my love... my feelings... forget about your love Maan... bury your feelings deep inside somewhere where no can reach...Stop loving her. As soon as those words left from Maan's lips he felt like something slicing his heart into two pieces. Still he continued she still doesn't know about my feelings... and I will make sure she will never be able to know it. I don't want her to be hurt. I can't see her in pain I will back out from these feelings. With those words he just broke down...He cried his heart out for hours. I will leave this job. I must go back to hoshiyarpur...yea that will be right... In this month end I'll submit my resignation letter and will search job in Delhi.

Next day Maan was all lost in himself. When she said about the team he was hoping he should not be in her team... how will he control his heart from beating when she will be around him. What a unfortunate moment it is... Once he was craving for every minute to be around her and now he is running away... Well that's called fate I guess. As he feared he was in Geet's team. Making his mind he left to Mr Shekhar's cabin to request him to take him in his team.

After looking at her cold behaviour towards him his heart pained but he is not regretting because he knows if he remains with her more time he will fall for her irrecoverably...He don't want to her to be fall for him... It will hurt her the most and he can't see her in pain... He has never been so scared of losing her, then again there was nothing meant him as much as she does. The ignorance he chooses for his love was most painful for him.

True tragedy isn't losing love, it's having all the love u need in front of you and choosing to throw it away.

I love you Geet and always will...Even I have to fulfil my responsibilities towards sameera I will always love you... Even if you never able know my feelings I will always love you... Even if we never able meet after this I will always love you... I will always love you till my last breath... I will cherish those moment of my love my entire life... He sadly smiled...
