Maybe not. When Paro was selected as the bride for the wedding, she did tell Paro that now she would be able to fulfill the promise that she made to Paro's mother, which would imply that she was a grown woman when Paro was a child.

I had exactly same thoughts. Today's scene made me think so but had one doubt if Rudra's mom abandoning him and Paro loosing her parents had happened simultaneously then how come Thakurain promised Paro's mom. The chances of them meeting and developing a bond would be remote.

I too think so - notice how she asks Takursa what is the name of the BSD officer - and he starts to say Rudra - Next time, she would recognize from his full name that he is her son:)
