But the SP writers did spoil a beautiful freindship. How come a person so good can become bad. The writers do need to think logically if not emotionally.

you are so right ..im watching the first few episode of SP again cos it just started here in Malaysia on Zee . and u can see from the theme song video even that the story was meant to show neel - saloni 's good relationship ... i have no idea why the writers twisted it so illogically to turn Neel into the bad guy . 😕 it just doesnt work that way ..

the directors (in my viewpoint) didn't illustrate neel's downward spiral to teh dark side. The directors are trying to show that neel's episode with shubra changed him as a person..............to me that's not a credible way of turning neel's character into some insensitive fool.

neel never respected shubra in that way...........he looked at shubra as saloni's kid sister.....neel felt he was trying to help saloni during shubra's time of need for saloni's sake.

one can't change from a very good, responsible person to someone who has become this greedy, evil-maniac just because of someone who he never gave one thought of.

if saloni had betrayed him, then it would make sense for neel to turn into some greedy person, because he worshipped teh ground that saloni walked on.
