Q. Can Jai Ho beat the business of Chennai Express or Dhoom 3?
Ans. It will be tough, it does not have the holiday benefit of Chennai Express and the hype of Dhoom 3 seems to be missing. It is banking on the star power of Salman Khan but you probably need a bit more than star power to get numbers like Chennai Express let alone Dhoom 3. The big holiday will not help much as it falls on a Sunday.

Q. Do you think R... Rajkumar has come as a life saver for Shahid Kapoor?
Ans. Its nothing of that sort as even if it flopped there would have still been more films. But what it has done is established him firmly because when you can open in B and C centres it gives you a potentially good career as a solo star. The metro audience is quick to jump to the next young guy but the B and C centres are more loyal and stars that manage a market in these places tend to have a long career. Nobody would ever have expected an urban star like Shahid Kapoor to get such a good reaction at single screens which is reserved for likes of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. He has really widened his audience base with R... Rajkumar.

Q. A few films were suppose to cross 300 this year so then why is industry so happy to see the figures of Chennai Express, Krrish 3 and Dhoom 3 all of which are less?
Ans. The 300 figure is just written by some, nobody who tracks box office seriously expects that sort of number, our first weeks are not high enough yet to expect 300 crore, yes if there is phenomenal acceptance all over then its possible but that has not really happened in the multiplex era. Maybe 6-12 months time the first weeks will go to around 200 crore nett and then 300 becomes a fair possibility.

Q. Nearly all films collections are inflated but why is the media is singling out Krrish 3? Have some of the other stars pointed out to media?
Ans. These things are always the case of bringing it to the attention of the media.
